"Was recommended by family during our visit. The staff was great and friendly. Everything we ordered was delicious"
"This is one of the popular eateries in town that we thought to order take out from. I really had high hope for this one. Overall I’d say it’s a bit overpriced for the quality and portion size. Order: I placed an order of 4 Fish and Chips and asked to substitute onion rings and caesar salad instead of fries for the two orders. Also, ordered fried pickles. Wait time: From placing the order on the phone to when it was ready, it took about 40+ minutes. I was told it would be 20-25 mins on the phone. Quality: I will say the fish was good but I would have expected a larger portion for the price. Seemed like the oil must have been old as the fries, onion rings were below average. The fried pickles were decent. Caesar salad was average."
"We were headed West on I80 when my wife commented she saw an exit to a brewery in NJ. She asked, You want to go? I was like a kid ready for Chuck E. Cheese. We exit & go on a hilly rural road. We are not familiar with this area. We were near the Delaware Water Gap. We were in the quaint town of Blairstown, New Jersey. The restaurant is located in a historic mill building. Its on a rural intersection. It comes up quickly as you drive from I80. The building is up a hill so not easy to spot from our direction. You drive up this steep driveway. I am a mechanical wheelchair user so accessibilty is a must. They have a walkway to the entrance but the doorways into the building are tight so the host helped open doors. The interior is spacious and airy, with exposed brick walls and wooden beams. The tables are well-spaced, and there is a large bar area with a variety of seating options. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with a rustic decor that complements the brewery's industrial feel, although I think the TV screens and what is shown take away from the charm & from the immersion into the libation. It offers a wide variety of craft beers, as well as a menu of American cuisine. We didn't eat just had 1 beer, my wife, a flight. But it was one of the best beers in these parts, meaning from our trip visiting New York City for 5 days, and now returning. I am a craft beer lover. I had the Anniversary Hazy IPA. They have a nice beer selection. The brewery offers a variety of year-round beers, as well as seasonal and specialty brews. Some of the popular beers include the Buck Hill IPA, the Brown Ale, and the Hefeweizen. The brewery also offers a flight of four beers, which is a great way to sample a variety of brews. The service at Buck Hill is friendly and attentive. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and the beer selection, and they are happy to make recommendations. We were there around 1:30pm. But when the place gets crowded, a wheelchair can be difficult to maneuver. Overall, Buck Hill Brewery & Restaurant is a great place to enjoy a delicious meal and a pint of craft beer."
"It was our first time here, and we loved it! The patio scene is great, the beer was tasty, and my food was amazing! (I had the scallop special) I definitely plan on going back soon."
"5/14/23 After seeing the signs on I-80 for countless years, we finally made it. ** Splitting checks on two cards is not possible ** (Our server told us) A really cool place with a decent menu and good beer. Me and the GF both had the Venison burger which was really good. The Brussels sprouts were very good. Loved the beer and i know we will be back for more. The outdoor space was very nice and the bar area looks cool. Service was good as well."
