"The staff is nice, but man lately it's nothing but problems with prescriptions. Switching to the pharmacy next door. They don't seem to have an issue getting things done on time. I gave it 2 stars only because the regular staff is nice. I've just had enough."
"It really seems like when they go to fill a prescription and the insurance says it requires a prior authorization, they just put it down and go do something else instead of calling me or using whatever automated text system to let me know. I've been in prior authorization hell for a month because the pharmacists at this Rite Aid just stop talking if something doesn't go through on the first try."
"I have had nothing but problems trying to get a covid omicron booster shot here. It's October 23 and I still haven't had the omicron bivalent booster. The first time I scheduled an appointment I received a confirmation number, but when I arrived they said my appointment was not in the system. The second time was similar. Now I created an account on the RiteAid website, but when I schedule the appointment it makes me type everything in over again. This location already has my vaccine history but the website isn't linked. They obviously have a very old and obsolete database system."
"They advertise free delivery from 1pm to 5pm for medications within a certain distance. Used this once months ago with no problem. Last week, I waited 2 days for my medication because I was unable to drive and I got a call the first day that there was no driver. Friday, next day, I was told it would be delivered, I called at 4pm and they said they had no driver. My husband helped me pick up the medication on Saturday and they were beyond rude. No apology, nothing. Just a snippy attitude. I said no one called to tell me my medicine wasn't coming yesterday, and they just blamed the driver. My medicine was in an envelope on a shelf that you could see from the counter. And they couldn't take the time to call me?????"
"The pharmacy is in need of some serious Customer Service training. I have nothing but problems every time I have to deal with this bunch. I called last week to ask what the cost of a medication would be for my dog, no insurance just the cost for the medication so that I could compare to what the Veterinarian charges and the snippy pharmacist told me she cant give me that information without a prescription. I explained it is just the basic cost -no insurance and she huffed at me then said hold on came back and rattled the price off with a major attitude. Medications are often not available, I was told by the same pharmacist that she does not carry a certain medication. Did not even offer to order it! I went to CVS in Hackettstown for it. The ONLY helpful person I have encountered in the pharmacy is Marta everyone else is rude, belittling and seem to despise their job."
