Located at 87 Belcher Road, our farm is a testament to over seventy years of agricultural excellence, proudly operated by the fourth generation of the Race family. We are committed to sustainable farming practices and proudly declare, "We have never and will never grow any GMO crops!"
Explore Our Two Locations:
1. Pick Your Own Farm: Visit us at 87 Belcher Rd, Blairstown, NJ, where you can enjoy the simple pleasure of picking your own fruits and vegetables. Currently, we are offering blueberries at $3.50 per lb and tomatoes at $2.50 per lb. Our "Pick Your Own" is open for the 2024 season on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 AM to 5 PM in July and August. Experience the joy of harvesting apples and pumpkins during the fall season!
2. Farm Stand & Market: Our market at 224 Rt 94, Blairstown, NJ, is open daily from 9 AM to 6 PM. Here, you’ll find an array of fresh produce, flash-frozen locally caught fish, local meats, dairy, eggs, baked goods, and healthy homemade soups and prepared meals. We also offer seasonal décor to complement your home.

Founded in 1938 by Carl & Flora Race, our farm continues to thrive under the stewardship of their descendants. From modernizing farming practices to introducing a "pick your own" operation and hosting a beloved road stand, the Race family has maintained a steadfast commitment to quality and community. Today, Doug Race, alongside his family and friends, ensures that Race Farm remains a labor of love.

At Race Farm, we believe in creating memorable experiences for our visitors. There is never an admission fee, and during the fall, enjoy free hayrides on weekends. Feel free to pack a picnic and relax in our scenic picnic area, taking in the natural beauty of our farm. We love seeing families and friends come together, harvesting their own food and savoring the tranquility of our beloved home.

"This is a gem of a place . The owner/ owners take much pride and are so helpful and hardworking. This family has been running this business for many years , competing with big stores which I’m sure is not easy . I used to come here when their grandmother was here and I love seeing her family/ grandchildren follow in her wonderful footsteps. Once I accidentally broke something in the gift area and the owner refused to let me pay , this is small town kindness you cannot easily find . Love all they have to offer , so fresh and beautiful."
"Nice little farm where we picked blueberries. When we called we were told we could pick sour cherry but when we got there we found out the season is over for cherries. They have a nice place where you can sit down and have your lunch in case if you would brought some."
"I like its convenient location since I t’s not far away from I-80. There are also vegetables such as peppers, tomatoes, eggplants for pick-up. What I don’t like is that the employees pushed me to complete the checkout 20 minutes before five pm ( that’s the official closing time ) . I could have picked more fruits and vegetables if they can act like owners!"
"Just a wonderful place full of fresh veggies and apples at every turn. Joyous families and friends, making new friends. Owners and workers were helpful and wonderful. Everything was labeled and priced ridiculously inexpensive. Adequate parking. A definite must visit for my family from now on. They have pumpkin picking as well."
