"I’ve ordered from here several times! I’m a Chef and avid foodie. My last order from here was a very unpleasant one! The ribs were not fresh at all! They tasted old/like yesterday old, and a little dry! They dowsed it in bbq sauce to thinking it would go in-noticed! We might have to take our business elsewhere! No consistency here! MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT!"

"Win: The RIBS were hands down the best I’ve had. With a mix of mild and hot sauces the tender ribs were a delight to enjoy. Definitely worth having a slab to take home again. Neutral: I had the Collards, which were a balance of savory and sweet. Meat free. They were also chopped really fine tho. Loss: The Mac and cheese was sub par and way too busy. It was like a pasteurized process orange cheese seasoning (butter) and unknown noodle mix of sorts. Those ribs deserve a straightforward no frills classic Sunday dinner baked Mac and cheese (milk, egg, butter, macaroni, cubes or grated cheese)"

"So it's been a number of years since I ate here. The sauce still has that same one of a kind flavor. The beef ribs were rather dry, the chicken was a bit burnt, and the mac needs to go back to the original recipe. Overall, I was both impressed with the flavor being so unique yet disappointed by the quality of the food itself declining. I get it, times change and with that recipes may need to be adjusted accordingly. But maybe the recipe needs to get back to the basics on the sides at least and take it from there with the rest of the menu. Also, this is the most unbiased opinion I can give despite being the great nephew of the owner himself. Keep up the good work uncle Luther. Take this with a grain of salt and we'll talk strictly business when we get a chance."

"Hey I ordered last wk soo happy I didn’t pay full price I would’ve been pissed. I never order sides, ppl can’t make potato salad/Mac/ Greens/cabbage/so I ordered corn on the cob. It was dry no butter sprinkle of salt just non flavored. The half ribs were ok just drowning in a thin sauce with a slice of toasted bread underneath. The charr wasn’t bad I like my meat a lil dark but I wind up re steaming the corn with salt butter and put a thicker sauce on the ribs via my air fryer. 3 stars"
