"Awful. Completely went downhill, don’t know what happened. I used to eat here a lot growing up, friendly staff, solid food, chill place to eat on Oregon Ave after shopping at the attached market. First time going back in a few years, now staff is rude, broth is barely smoking in the WINTER, flavors are not good, the “fresh chicken” is not fresh at all and comes with like three pieces of awful chicken. Portion is small for the price, waitstaff sit around talking, not paying attention to patrons, person on the register is extremely rude! Waiter who took our order didn’t write anything down, impressive! But got one of our orders wrong and walked away. Whatever, they ate it anyways even though it’s not what she wanted, but come on. I really don’t need waitstaff to be pleasant or even nice but they really don’t care about how they treat you. I’m content with a hello or a thank you, especially when I’m at the register paying the bill! I regret even tipping 15% for service and food this poor. There is nothing redeeming about this place other than location and the past when it was a decent spot. Waste of money, waste of time, waste of food. I’d rather go anywhere else on Washington Ave. I would not recommend, and will not be back."
""I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this restaurant. My family and I dined there this morning, and after finishing our meal, the bill came to around $37. I promptly went to the front desk to settle the payment. I handed them $40 and explicitly mentioned, 'No change, keep the tip.' To my surprise, as we were heading out, the waiter sprinted towards me, thrusting a check in my face, claiming the bill was actually $57. I was taken aback and calmly explained that I had already factored in a $2 tip. However, instead of understanding or offering clarification, the waiter proceeded to interrogate me about why I only left a $2 tip. What infuriated me was the lack of communication between the front desk and the waitstaff. If there was an issue with the tip, why didn't they inform me when I made the payment? I felt humiliated and cornered, as if I had done something wrong. It was an embarrassing and disrespectful encounter that left a sour taste in my mouth. The waiter's behavior was not only unprofessional but also downright rude. I firmly believe that customers should be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of the situation. Their actions displayed a complete disregard for customer service. Needless to say, I will never set foot in this restaurant again. I expect better treatment and transparency when dining out. There are plenty of other establishments that value their customers and provide a more pleasant experience. Save yourself the trouble and choose elsewhere.""
"Got a large pho and broken rice with pork chops. The soup was very good in the pho but the meat is probably not the best tho. The broken rice was good. Didn't expect the pork chop to be very saucy. Still good but different from expected"
"Came here for Pho but almost didn’t get it as there were other options on the menu that looked delicious. The broke rice dishes were quite tempting but I ended up going with the beef ball and rare steak pho. The broth was very flavorful and there was plenty of noodles. I wish there was more beef balls in the dish as it felt like 85% rare steak and not much beef ball"
"Great tasting Pho. Fast and quick service too. I sat down and ordered. Got our food in less than 5 mins. Plenty of tables and space. If you haven't had pho, there is variey of toppings. Can't go wrong with any of them. Choose what you like. The broth is where it is at and make sure a sip of it before digging into the noodles. I know in Vietnam they eat this even when it is hot but it definitely hits differently when you have pho on a cold winter day. Definitely worth coming back here again."
