She heard me out, and actually made me feel like I had some control of my cut! Although, barbers are the expert, she has a great listening ear and is easy to talk to!"

"I have been going to this shop for a little over 2 months now and have received great service every time! On my first cut Paris did a thorough walk thru of what I wanted and made sure we were on the same page thru the entire cut. Every visit back has been the same positive energy and great conversation. Definitely a returning customer."

"Whatever you do don't go to here. I asked for a low taper fade and the barber I went to Paris didn’t cut the front taper at all, pushed the right side of my hairline far back and crooked the fade itself was terribly done and not faded at all, both sides are uneven and don’t look the slightest bit symmetrical and she left small bald patches all around my head and she attempted to use root coverup to hide the fact that she cut away parts of my hairline. Due to this I will now have to restart my hair journey to make my hair even the slightest bit even, my guess is this barber had no experience and should still be practicing on mannikins and or little children. Overall terrible barber shop that focuses 100% on aesthetic and 0% on actual cutting hair not even to mention how overpriced it is to basically ruin your hair."

Devona was able to help fix my hair up after a bad hair cut from another shop and took all my input, and made it a reality. I had a ton of hair because I grew it out, and even with that, she was able to handle it. She has the chops to make it as a master barber! Beware, though Up North Kutz trains new barbers too, so before you go, be sure to check out their knowledge on their website to be more acquainted!"
