"We had a wonderful Saturday morning breakfast out on the patio. The food was good, the service was outstanding and the manager stopped by our table to make sure everything was good. That a 5 star restaurant in my book!"
"Breakfast was alright. One pancake tasted great and the other tasted odd - like it was cooked on the same surface as another person's savory breakfast. The Belgium waffles were surprisingly small compared to the pancakes and for some reason, you have to pay $2.50 extra for maple syrup for the waffles but syrup comes with the pancakes. The highlight of our breakfast was definitely the fresh squeezed orange juice! The locally made maple syrup was good too."
"My “restaurant snobby” Southeast Texas family loved this little place for breakfast. We are here every morning throughout our stay in Tannersville. Best pancakes with locally made syrup and the freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious! Jamel made some awesome fried chicken! Thank you Barley Creek!"
"Great spot for breakfast! Their freshly squeezed orange juice is delicious. Waffles and Egg Benedict is amazing. Must order pancakes with locally made syrup. Our server was Alanna and she was very accommodating and friendly. Thank you."
"Having breakfast before hiking in wet snow! Reviews are good and we were expecting the same food experience. The avocado toast had avocado spread (not avocado slices, as one would expect). When we complained our server brought out more avocado spread in a dish and charge us extra $2.50. I ordered regular stack pancakes. They were half-cooked in the middle and the mixed berries were thin sliced frozen berries mixed in with the dough. Not worth the extra $2 we had to pay for. A small bottle of maple syrup is extra $2.50. My wife ordered a 3 flavor of the Mimosa sampler. I feel $4/small glass is too pricey. The drinks selection on the menu does not say how much they are. The service is great with amazing staff. Not so for the food quality. Ambience outside is picturesque with light snow on the ground. It makes me very sad to share less positive reviews."
