"Very friendly and warm, excellent haircuts! Found my standard place for sure!"
"$ 30 + 5 tips for a custom cut. Great service, professional and caring. I want to come here again for the next month."
"Great haircut at a great price. I've had my hair cut by both Po La and Maria and they were both excellent. Be aware they only take cash or Zelle but they do have an ATM inside. Don't let the construction outside keep you away!"
"Took my teenage boys here for a basic haircut. They did a pretty good job... Nothing fancy, and affordable. Paid $30 + tip for a boy's cut. They do not accept plastic, so come with cash or they also take Zelle. I have not yet tried these guys for an adult male haircut, but I expect to do so soon. The location is convenient and I usually walk from my neighborhood in Calvert Hills. It's always a temptation to get a giant slice of pizza next door... So I always do."
"LADIES if you are thinking about going here to get a haircut any more complicated than a trim, then take your business elsewhere. It might have been my mistake to try and get layers and face framing curtain bangs here vs at a professional salon, but was it so wrong of me to think that the stylists here should know how to do that cut? When I called to make my appointment, I even asked if they were capable of doing this cut, giving them the opportunity to say they weren't comfortable doing it based on their skill level. I wish they would've admitted that before they ruined my hair. The first red flag was when she didn't wash my three day old hair and started spraying my hair down with a spray bottle. After she was done cutting, she blowdried my hair without adding any products. Then, she proceeded to stop blowdrying when my hair was halfway dry, so I walked out of the place with the under layer of my dirty hair damp. Of course in the moment I didn't realize just how bad the cut turned out, so I paid the full $45 plus a $9 tip. What a scam, especially since I didn't even get a proper wash or blow-dry. Their website even says that the starting price for a women's cut is $25 INCLUDING a wash, cut, and blow-dry, so I'm really not sure where the extra $20 came from. Seems to me that they're in the business of scamming their clients, but I digress. After going home, I saw the unblended layers and choppy curtain bangs in full. I had to immediately wash and blow-dry my hair myself in hopes that it might improve how it looked, but it did not. I had to hide my hair for two weeks before I could go to a professional salon to fix it. The new hair stylist I went to said "In my professional opinion, this is a bad haircut" as she pieced through my hair in disgust. She also told me that it would take two sessions to perfectly fix my hair. That's how bad my hair was ruined. She explained to me in better terms than I could that the stylist here cut my bangs into the side panel of my hair, which is an extremely incorrect technique. It was clear to her that the stylist had no idea what she was doing. This haircut has now put me in hundreds of dollars to fix. This first photo shows my hair right after I left the salon with a half-complete blow-dry. The second photo is after I washed and blowdried myself and shows the chopped off curtain bangs and unblended layers. I will never return back to Today's Hair, but for the future, if the stylists could please just let the clients know what they are and are not capable of doing, this could be avoided. Also, maybe be a little more transparent about your pricing."
