"I live in College park and was excited to find a dominican salon close by. I came in and everyone was friendly, that's the pro. After getting my hair washed they offered me a free deep conditioner. I thought I lucked up. Only to notice it was to stall for time because they only had one lady doing hair. After my deep condition I sat, and sat, and sat. I asked how much longer because I had to prepare for an event. They kept saying soon. Eventually I decided to leave and go to the salon further away I normally go to. I offered to pay for the shampoo but didn't expect them to tell me almost $40. My jaw dropped. I actually started laughing. If I was gonna pay that, I might as well pay 20 plus more dollars and actually get the full service but I couldn't wait any longer. I was pissed but I paid it. I was seated in the back so I couldn't see the other ladies hair process. When leaving I saw so much smoke from one of the clients hair and knew I made the right decision to leave."

"If you have 4C hair. This review is for you. I want to preface this by saying that everyone at the salon was so nice and welcoming. As soon as I walked in, I felt the positive energy. I didn't have to wait long, and they listened to my requests and needs about my hair. Before today, I spoke on the phone with Elsa, the manager, who was so sweet and kind. She was able to relate my requests to the team about what I needed for my hair. Unfortunately, they dont have too much experience with 4C hair. You can still go if you have 4C hair, but you have to be VIGILANT and adjust every part of the process. I had to tell them to lower the heat level of the blow dryer because i could smell my hair burning. If it hadn't been the other reviews, i would have probably had damaged hair. I didn't even know a blow dryer could get that hot. She still wanted to flat iron it after too. They did not do it with malicious intentions. I just think they need more practice with 4C hair. After they adjusted the temp, the difference between the hair section they did with the highest temp and the rest of my hair was astounding. You would have thought I got that part flat ironed. So moral of the story, I would probably go somewhere else if you had 4C type hair. If you do go, be very vigilant. Otherwise, they could accidentally damage your hair."

"NO black woman with natural hair should come here. I had a lovely, kinky Afro before I came to get my hair done. I asked for a deep conditione, blowout and trim. When I left this place, I could tell my hair most likely would not ever go back to its natural curls. I should have walked out when I saw smoked literally rising from my hair. After a week, I washed my hair and, as I thought, my curls didn’t come back at ALL. My hair literally started to fall out of my head in CLUMPS. I was devastated. I now have straight hair that is uneven all over and chemically damaged. I went to a black professional hair stylist and she has confirmed that I need to cut off all of my hair. What’s left of it anyway. So sad. Please do not give the company your hard earned money. They are terrible."

"I was serviced immediately, no wait time. I got the blowout and I have 3c/4A natural hair. I was impressed because she properly detangled my hair and combed without pulling. My blowout lasted over 2 weeks and i went on a cruise. No breakage or anything. I will definitely visit them again for the New Year when I want a straight bouncy look!"

"Jocelyn did an amazing job in my hair. She worked fast, made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process, and hydrated my hair. She was very gentle while combing out my braids. They offer a great deal for new customers"
