"My Barber jay has been cutting my hair for some time now. I’ve gotten to notice that he loves his job. He’s very professional and cuts my hair exactly the way I tell him even if it’s a small change. He gives me tips on how to keep my hair moisturised and he goes beyond the scope of his job. That’s why I believe he’s one of the best."
"Took my 2 sons here under 4 years old and I'm honestly surprised at the positive reviews this place receives. Each son was cut by a different person and I found the barbers to be impatient, not personable and seemed really disinterested in doing anything that had to do with cutting kids hair. After doing a couple scissor snips and lackluster shaping they took one of my sons off the chair and proceeded to charge me 30. They didn't ask if I was satisfied with the results and when I asked him to take the cut lower on my other son, he didn't. I echo the comments of people that mentioned the barbers here need to listen more and be more customer centric, because they are severely lacking in this area and I will not return. Meanwhile, I went to Warrens and they are very kid friendly and you get the vibe they love cutting kids hair. They offered lollipops and everyone was extremely friendly. Christopher's has a lot learn in this regard."
"My husband and son (8years old) have been going here for years. The barbers have become like family to us. Especially J Harley (aka JR)! His precision and detail with his technique when cutting hair is very impressive and immaculate. He pays attention to detail, produces the style we want and he has ALOT of patience, especially with cutting kids hair. My son wanted a design on the side of his head, and JR was able to provide a style that was even better than what we envisioned. JR makes you feel comfortable and welcomed. I highly recommend him to everyone"
"My stylist/barber is Jay. He is an amazing barber. My son has Autism and Jay is very accommodating to his awkwardness in social settings. He is always patient and polite. His skills as a barber is the best from what I have seen so far in the years of trying out barbers. He is very particular about cleanliness and always does an alcohol wiped down as well as gets rid of all the clippings of hair at the end. I also notice the precision with the fading, the hairline outline and facial hair grooming. You can not go wrong if you choose him to hook you up."
"Sad that the owner is disrespectful to his own kind. I still tipped him $20 cause I felt bad for the man. Chris definitely messed up my hair cut on purpose. He spent 10 minutes on my hair cut. All his employees saw the way he treated me. I hope they realize the kinda person they are working for. So I paid $60 for a 10 minute hair cut. Last thing I want to do is bring down another brother but, you cant run a business disrespecting people. Plus he was talking about how another customer couldn't afford his $40 hair cut in front of me. Maybe he was hinting I couldn't afford his hair cut either. I am very well off, and respectful to any person I come across. Chris couldnt even do my back fade correctly. The other photos are one left and one right for the shape up. Photos never lie. It's a reason you mainly see women taking their kids here. No man will take disrespect for no reason. The fact he sat down and started talking to another customer before doing my hair cut was a huge red flag. Just because you own the business doesn't mean you can give bad service and expect US black folks to continue to support you"
