"These people saved my biscuits!!! We were on our way home from the PA Renn Faire. We popped a tire on the highway. We called our trailer roadside assistance company and they were going to send a tow truck to pull our trailer to a place that didn't even have the correct type of tire. They suggested we call this place nearby that services rvs. Kathy was wonderful on the phone and her brother came and followed us while we drove the 2.5 miles to their place. They changed the tire and sold us a spare. We were on our way again."
"My application is not the camping but their service on my boat trailer. We were coming back from Cape Cod amd had an axle break break. We limped into their parking lot ( they were recommended by an Advanced Auto store nearby ). Cathy amd the ladies were very knowledgeable and kind to my daughter. They fixed my axle at a fair price ( especially since I lived 600 miles away ) when they could’ve charged what they wanted. Very fair people and great to do business with."
"Friendly staff but terrible campground unless you are just passing thru for the night. Absolutely nothing to do. Barely see anyone except those that live there. Sites are very small and over crowded with old dirty trailers. The store looks great from the outside. But don't forget anything because the store does not sell food and condiments. Only basic camping supplies. But they do have good fire wood. One time here was enough for us."
"A really lovely, simple, clean, and quiet campground. They have showers, toilets, a pool, small playground, a store, and it's close to Spruce Run Park and other nice places in Hunterdon County. Very reasonable price, friendly staff, and an overall very nice experience. We went here for a first camping trip with our daughter and it was very easy and convenient."
"Could be really nice, lots of potential. Just needs someone to care The place looked a lot better when we left than when we arrived, as during the week they started cleaning up for the holiday weekend. May have rated it higher if not for our personal experience. We RV full time and work remotely. Our computers and internet connections we rely on need electricity. One day, a worker just decided to unplug us without warning. Our door was open; a knock or other courtesy notification would have been nice so that we could turn on our generator. When we ran out, he said he'd be 5 minutes and when we explained we were working and now had to reboot everything and reconnect, he just shrugged; didn't care or apologize. Our main internet connection needs several hours to reboot, but fortunately one of our backup sources worked. We tried to reach the office, but gave up after the person in charge was on lunch every time we called. The other incident was the landscaping crew having a large fight and one pinning another to the ground while screaming at each other. Not the campground's fault, but the landscaping crew also mowed over some soda cans and left shredded metal near the playground; there were kids at the campground at the time. All in all, not a great experience but some time, mowing and painting could make the place a nice family campground."
