"Besides slim shady with a bad attitude who took our order, by far the worst cheese steak I've ever had. Lettuce and tomato put in the bread first, then meat rolled up and stuck on top. The bread is a whole other thing, bulky, square bottom sub roll that doesn't work at all, it has too much bread on the bottom of the sub. Not sure if all the subs are done like this, but they need to learn how to build a sub!"

"It’s hard to argue with the value proposition and quality of this establishment. I had friendly, prompt, genuine service where the folks behind the counter were busy but interested in helping me. The roll for my cheesesteak was house made. Super soft on the inside. Crisp on the outside. For $10, it was more food than I could eat. In a perfect world, an establishment like this would exist in every small town."

"If you like fried foods and hoagies this is the place for you. It's a very busy place for lunch. They make their own bread out back and it smells heavenly. I was planning on ordering a salad but they only have iceberg lettuce so I opted for a cheesesteak stromboli because the strombolis in the case looked good. I was shocked when it finally arrived and it was fried. I've never seen a fried stromboli. I had no idea that was even a thing. I just ate the cheese and steak out of the middle. I was thankful I only paid $9.50 for it. The food is really affordable which is great. Probably because it's cash only. My husband ordered a cheesesteak and said it was ok. It's chunkier than he's used to getting. He did say the bread was good. If you're eating healthy I'm not sure what to order. Good luck. The brownies and desserts look very tempting."

"Tommy’s is a great place to get pizza, a sub, steak sandwich, alcoholic beverage, ice cream, and much more. It’s pizza, and it’s standard pizza for the area, but explore the menu and get other stuff, like the Rambo, or the Rambo pizza. The taco pizza is also incredible, so yeah, if you’re in Jim Thorpe and want pizza etc. this is the place you want to go."
