"After several different experiences with this store, I have mixed fillings. Purchased snowboarding gear 3 separate times. Once a few years ago. All okay, but Dave(older guy) is somewhere between grumpy and downright rude. This most recent time, Wade took care of us and he was extremely nice and helpful. However, he did set up two snowboards and after just 3 runs at Roundtop, 3 of the 4 bindings were moving and I found all 8 screws loose on both boards. I'd still much rather work with Wade. They didn't have the boots I wanted in the right size and I just called to see if they were in and Dave was again, extremely rude and short. Considering each set up costs close to $1000 and I have 3 more people in my family to get fitted; I'm likely to go somewhere else; mostly because of Dave. He needs an attitude adjustment or to find another line of work if he can't be just a little nice to his customers."
"Excellent service, drove 300mi to get my boots fitted, would do it again. Thanks Dave!"
"Update: Updating my 1 star review here. Who says businesses don’t care about customer experiences? Well, thank you Renee for responding and really taking the time to care about my personal experience. It really does go a long way. I look forward to coming back into the store before the winter season. I decided back in late winter to pick up some ski gear and decided I'd give my business to a locally owned business. My husband and I went in looking for a specific item and ended up buying some additional things for our ski trip to Utah. The help we received was good. The problem I had was that we had specifically asked what their return policy was because we may need to return/exchange an item. I was told that it was no problem to return the items as long as it was with in 30 days with a receipt. Okay, great. I went back to return a ski jacket we purchased and was then told that there is a restocking fee for a jacket that still had the tags attached! What?! So I was charged a $40 restocking fee for a jacket that was never worn and all you have to do is put it back on a hanger?! Ridiculous. Also, I was not told that I would only receive a store credit after a certain amount of days. I spoke with the manager, Dave. Said he would talk to the owner and still to this day I have not heard anything back. I took my losses ($115 between the store credit and restock fee). I felt like he didn't care and that me taking by money elsewhere was not a big deal. Well, that is exactly what I will do. We spend about $1,000 every season on ski gear, etc and was trying to help out a local business. Do not shop here unless you are 100% positive that you won't have to return/exchange something. Terrible way to do business."
"I truly did get excellent service there. They have people who are both technicians and sales associates so more than enough knowledge. He went above and beyond to dig through inventory to find bindings in the right color scheme for my Jr. Skier, with mounting/adjusting, and a comfy helmet for me $234. DONE. I'm happy. UPDATE: I recently got another round of ski's boots and bindings for my son. David did a great job getting my son set up. My son's skill level immediately improved with the equipment we got. He said he feels like he has perfect control in all conditions. He's like a kid with a new bicycle. Very happy!"
"Uller’s is wonderful. This was my first time buying ski equipment and they were so helpful and knowledgeable. Everyone there was great and they taught me a lot. They spent a lot of time making sure I understood the equipment so I could pick out what works best and feels the best for me. Their prices are reasonable and they don’t push the more expensive options. They worked hard to get my equipment ready fast so I could get out on the mountain that weekend. I really appreciate all of their time and expertise."
