"OK experience. Nothing special just another thrift stores"
"Nice little place! Visit and stay awhile."
"I have loved this store since its opening nearly 10 years ago ... to shop as well as a volunteer!"
"I can never walk in there without buying something. I always find something I need. The staff is so friendly and helpful."
"The older people that run this store are just plain rude. This is not the first time that I’ve encountered rude elderly folk here. The last time happened about a year ago, so I stayed away. Decided on a whim to give it another try today and wish that I wouldn’t have. The lady was selling a set of suitcases, so I told my mother that I would like to check out the inside of each one. After looking, I told MY MOTHER that I didn’t want them because the entire plastic support was cracked and steadily breaking inside of it. The cashier overheard that and asked me to show her what was wrong with it, so I proceeded to do as she asked. I pulled the VELCRO to the side to show her and she says: “Don’t tear it up worse than it already is.” I said, “it’s Velcro!” Instead of saying “I’m sorry,” she says “oh, okay.” Then she tells us that she will sell them to us for a discount. Um, no thanks. They are having a bag sale and before that incident she had told me that she must be able to tie the bags when I had THREE pieces of clothing. Three!!!!! I let that go. Then she tried to untie my bag to see what I got, like I was stealing. I let that go. But to accuse me of tearing up something and then not even saying “sorry” when you’re obviously wrong, no. You’ve lost my business permanently now. This is a church-owned business. This is how Christians act? I don’t think so. They also let several people in without a mask (including an employee) in very tight quarters, so I didn’t feel safe there either. You’d think that these elderly folk would worry about COVID, but they are too worried about chasing away their customers with their bad attitudes. Trifles? More like trifling!"
