Cafe Des Amis Sewickley

"Cafe Des Amis is a small little breakfast / lunch restaurant in Sewickley. We stopped here for what would be considered breakfast I suppose, although I ordered lunch food. It is set up in a way that you order from the counter, but the food is delivered via a waiter/waitress. We ordered the French toast, breakfast burrito, and crowue monsieur. Everything we ordered was very good. I can say I ordered a side salad with the sandwich And I believe there is only one dressing, which is what seems to be Dijon based. It was okay, but not But I was in the mood for at that time. All I know I would say this place is definitely worth checking out. Follow for more..."

"The French toast was delicious. The hash browns were extra crispy and fantastic. I will say the floors seemed really dirty and some of the tables didn’t look like they had been cleaned recently. I think I saw something where this restaurant had some sort of issue last week maybe they are still working on getting things cleaned up?"

"Ordered what I thought was going to be a grilled cheese and tomato soup. When the food came out - I received an ungrilled cheese and no tomato soup. Proceeded to go to the counter and ask if I could get tomato soup BUT they were out (wish I was told this when I ordered). Once I got back to my table - the females working were pointing at my table and party laughing/talking. It was a pretty poor experience - do yourself a favor and go across the street to Mediterra and you will get better food and service"

"We went there this morning. I wanted the bacon advacado omelette but they didn't have no advacado. There was not enough coffee and one of the tables in the corner was covered in ants. Don't sit by the door because everyone slams it. The employees were great and very helpful. The cook was amazing and sent the food out quick. The food was fresh and tasty. It felt like bad ownership to be honest. Seems like the owner don't care about anything other then the dollar. I'm sad to say I will not return."
