Caliente Pizza & Draft House

"A solid 4.5 stars here for the Caliente venue in Sewickley. Stopped in on our way back to the N Hills from the airport and enjoyed a delicious pizza pie, to say nothing of the great craft beer selection on tap. Hasn't changed much from the old Sharp Edge establishment, if you were familiar with that joint. I'd definitely return."

"4.5 star. Our waitress Brittany was fantastic and super attentive. Pizza was good… A little disappointed because I had 10 inch, with mushroom and banana pepper and in the whole pizza was probably 5-6 small pieces of mushroom. BF pizza had a lot of toppings tho :) I take half star off for small bugs that are all over dining area and may get into food. We noticed them last time too and I believe management should consider doing something about this."

"Pizza was ok. (small 10in, mushrooms &black olive)... probably one of the first pies I would ask for less cheese of thier cheese. In places where cheese is dense you get more of a rubbery/dense bite, than oogy gooy stretchy bite. Toppings were plentiful, shrooms were real. Some of the crust edge got sauce & toppings, some did not. Pulled the hunks of cheese off, and left them behind. Fried zuchini... screaming hot as expected haha. Fried a little more than hoped, more of a rust color than golden. I found myself taking a bite, pulling the zucc out to eat it, and leaving the greasy fry shell behind. My fav zucc breading: egg wash, dipped in blend of bread crumbs+ dry ranch dressing mix for flavor."

"A go-to spot for lunch, and a cold drink! I personally prefer the interior of the Sewickley location to their place in Bloomfield. Same awesome pizza, cheesy bread, wings, rolls, and hoagies. Friendly staff, good atmosphere, awesome happy hour and daily deals. The beer selection is top notch, and they have high quality liquor if that’s your thing. Get the bacon cheesy bread, and a cold draft beer and you can’t miss! Favorite pizza at the moment is the Garden Betty White. If you cook, their spicy olive oil adds a nice kick to pasta."

"The wings were very good the 1st time. Went again months later, ordered the same wings, and they were totally different and not good. The Quack Attack is worth a try. The other pizzas I tried are average at best. The dough just is not for my taste."
