"Excellent haircut at a great price! I was initially worried going here because I have long, wavy, messy hair that hadn't been trimmed in forever and would tangle at a seconds notice. But my fears were unfounded, the stylist did an amazing job, he made sure he knew what I wanted and took his time to do it well and be thorough. The base cost was $30 for the cut, and the total came to $60 including full wash and blow-dry. A total steal in my opinion given the quality of the cut and prices at other salons (which tend to be expensive in the area). I also booked very last minute. The place was clean, no-frills, and very sanitary. I believe they take walk-ins though you can call to book an appointment. Will definitely be going back, I totally recommend them!"

"I was in the neighborhood after a medical appointment and noticed the salon. I walked in and asked if someone could take a walk in for a haircut & color. The gentleman (“Tony” Hair Fashion) welcomed me and immediately took charge and asked me “ what type of haircut and color “…I told him my former hairdresser was out of town and that I needed a color and cut. Tony took note of my present color and took his professional observation. After a few minutes of going over my request it was time to allow him “Tony” with all my trust in allowing him to be creative. I must say, my friends and coworkers have been constantly asking me and complementing, my new color and cut. I’m definitely going back and looking forward to this great salon. The entire staff was so friendly & professional! So glad to have walked into the salon and having found a jem in the district..here in DC!"
