"Nice atmosphere, and top notch NYC standard cocktails in Fairfax. We got the Chrysanthemum Margarita, which was gorgeous, complex, and balanced with beautiful soft fruit and floral prolonged notes, and the Paper Moon, which had a warm delicious profile, elevated with fruity notes. I highly recommend both of these drinks. The food was superb, every single dish that we ordered was beautifully executed and filled with wonderful depth and complexity of flavors. The dishes that most stood out were General Tso’s Chicken, Crispy Duck, and Drunken Noodle, they were just out of this world. Service was warm and welcoming. Will definitely come back the next time I’m around. Thumbs up Songbird!!"

"Songbird is a really unique Asian restaurant, they have a variety of cocktails and Asian cuisines to choose from on the menu. Songbird is my new favorite Asian restaurant and bar! It is my go to place whenever I am craving for some Asian food or good drinks! All the staff here are so friendly and entertaining. I also met the manager and she is extremely sweet. If you're looking for a place with great service and to have conversations with someone, while drinking good cocktails, you should come to Songbird. The atmosphere in Songbird is phenomenal, so amazing that it gives me the chills every time I walk in here. I love the style and the concept of Songbird, their style is so pretty and it gives me New York vibes, especially the bar area. The decoration in Songbird is truly amazing. The place looks really stunning at night because all the ambient lights around the restaurant are more visible. The name Songbird really suits this place because the music choice here is amazing. The food and cocktails here is top tier and worthy of every penny I spent. Every time I come here I always order there General Tso Chicken because this dish is my favorite dish in the entire menu and it tastes so delicious that I can't describe how good it tastes to me. I also ordered the Sweet and Sour Cucumber, Dynamic Roll, and Fried Chicken Bao the last time I visited here. They were all presented on the plate so pretty and appetizing and those dishes all tasted heavenly delicious. I love how Songbird tailored their cocktail menu, making it extremely unique. I would recommend the Paper Moon and the Songbird Old Fashioned drinks because they are personally my favorite. Their kitchen closes at 10 pm but the bar is open till LATE."

"Songbird may look like boring and average on the outside, but don't be fooled because when I wandered inside this local restaurant, I was quickly enticed by the rich aroma of their amazing dishes. This restaurant/bar has the best Asian food I've tasted in all of Fairfax! We ordered the sticky crispy beef (crunchy and sticky with a sweet/savory flavor ), crispy duck to share ( crispy skin with juicy meat that bursts with flavor), and general tso chicken that tasted so good that I don't even know how to describe it. The interior decor includes a wonderful blend of classic Chinese and American vibes, which gives me New York cocktail vibes. Everything is beautifully decorated from the front entrance to the restroom. On top of that, the service was extraordinary. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The manager was a sweet lady too! Overall, this is the perfect spot to enjoy a tasty meal or have a great time with friends and family! I can't wait to bring more people here!"

"As a customer of their previous location in McLean, I already had high expectations. When I walked in today, my expectations were highly exceeded! Staff and ownership were extremely welcoming, drinks were on point, and the food was delicious to say the least. Love the new concept, the menu, and the decor. They’re conveniently located on Fairfax Blvd across from the Hyundai dealership, open till late. I recommend coming here if you want to experience a truly fine Chinese Cuisine while enjoying a unique cocktail."
