"Would give a 5 because it's a beautiful place. However midway through our tour I was in a room that connects three rooms like a throughway. But because I was about 12 ft from our guide in full view of him he rudely and sternly raises his voice and says sir I'm over here! Completely unnecessary and unprofessional. Rules were no touching anything, no flash, no video and no falling behind. I was breaking no rules. I just wasn't paying attention to the guy enough I guess and it irritated him. But Im a photographer I came there for pictures. I wasn't exactly there for the stories. I actually left the tour because of it."
"Went to the Ghost Tour. Would love to go to the historical tour too. It was a super cool tour and the Guide was great. Lots of cool sights and scary shots stories. Totally worth the entrance fee, remember what you pay probably goes right back into the care of the Castle. Sooooo worth it. Check it out."
"Karen was VERY personable and VERY knowledgeable! This was our last stop on a 5 castle tour through Pennsylvania and was by far the most enjoyable of our trip. Highly recommend this castle and Karen as your guide throughout Well worth the drive!"
"Worth the visit. The castle itself has a very interesting history, but getting to walk back in time is what's truly valuable. The castle is filled with period pieces and the construction and restoration is as historically accurate as possible too. The money from ticket admission goes right back to restoration of the castle so definitely check it out so it can stay around for many generations to come."
"When here for a tour with my partner not too long ago. Definitely worth the price. The guide was very experienced and the tour was very interesting. Looking forward to the ghost tours that come up in April and October. Will definitely be visiting again."
