"I AM SO DISAPPOINTED! If I could give the customer service at this credit union a true rating it would be -10. The customer service over the phone is very short. The teller do not want to explain anything in regards to your account. They treat you like an inconvenience. I was a member of this credit union before partners 1st took over and there is no way General would talk to customer like that. So BEWARE if Stephanie answers the phone expect disrespect. Do your research and go to Public Service, you will be happier."
"I just got off the phone with Mary from the Fort Wayne branch. She was very helpful, addressed all of our concerns, and was an absolute great personality to have on the other end of the phone call. Happy, upbeat, and positive throughout the whole phone call. Thank you, Mary, for the positive experience with phone-in customer service. You were wonderful."
"The absolute worst lender I have had the misfortune of dealing with. I have had over a dozen loans in the last decade and have never dealt with a worse company. I have made my payments on time every month since the account opening, but routinely get nasty grams from Partners 1st telling me that my payment is a week+ late, even though the payment processed through my bank account the day after the payment was scheduled. Dealing with this bank has made me reconsider any future business with the dealership I bought my car from, despite the dealership providing one of the best car buying experiences I have had."
"I would give no stars if it were possible. Where do I start? Their interest rates are absolutely outrageous, even with good credit, you'll be paying more than a couple percent more than if you got a loan somewhere else. On top of that, they'll withhold your property (titles, paperwork, etc.) from you well after you've paid it off. And not a couple days, try weeks, a criminal amount of time. Then they'll lie to you about sending you your property days ago. The whole time they know that they've been too lazy and uncaring to actually do what they're legally inclined to. Definitely stay away from any of their loans. I can't imagine anyone enjoying their experience here."
"I have a car loan through this bank. Not my choice, all the dealership had available. They decided to add on insurance without telling me. I went into the bank and the teller was very nice. Got it all sorted out. The bank decided since there was a 5 day lapse that they were not going to give me a full refund. Pathetic, money sucking bank. Will be looking into getting my car loan switched to Profed."
