"The place was clean but other than that the service was lacking…they never ask if you want any sauce with dumplings or their wings. The flavor of the wings were decent but the chicken was mush and not crispy at all. Korean fried chicken is known to be crispy…not mushy. Would rather have bonchon any day."
"Disappointed to report a less than satisfactory experience at BBQ Chicken in Woodbridge, Virginia. Our night began with a call to the restaurant at 7:45 p.m., where we were assured that arriving by 8:15 p.m. would be fine for a late dine-in. Unfortunately, upon arrival at 8:20 p.m., just five minutes later, we were met with resistance and an unwelcome attitude from the staff. Despite the initial tension, we placed our order promptly at 8:24 p.m., only to find out after payment that our food was being prepared for takeaway rather than dining in. We received our food at 8:43 p.m., a wait time that would've been more acceptable had the atmosphere not been so rushed and unwelcoming. The night ended on a sour note just before 9 p.m. when I asked for an additional bag for our to-go boxes. Instead of being offered a fresh bag, I was handed one with our check already stapled to it. The Korean fried chicken was passable but didn't live up to the hype or the 30-minute drive from Fairfax. While the food was okay, the lack of hospitality and consideration for customers deeply impacted our overall experience. A great dining experience requires good food and good service, and sadly, we didn't receive the latter. Regrettably, we won't be returning."
