Tacos El Costalilla

"I truly don’t understand how this place has si manh positive reviews. I’m always on the hunt for good genuine mexican tacos so after reading positive reviews for this place i decided to try it. The tacos were absolutely disgusting. I got 6 carne asada tacos the meat was hard and chewwy, it had absolutely no flavor not even salt and the amount of fatty pieces was ridiculous. More than half of each taco was more fat than meat itself. I’m usually not one to complain but i honestly have never had a worse taco than from here. The only positives were the tortilla was cooked well and there was a toppings fixings bar so you could choose how much chilantro, onion, salsa, etc you wanted. Truly hated these tacos wish i could get a full refund. Not to mention each taco is $4.50 which is absurd considering their nonexistent taste and bad meat quality. Wish i could give them 0 stars"

"Love their authentic food! Service was good, although when dealing with the person taking your order felt like I was at a drive thru. I did get it, due to the fact that it does get busy when I got there there was a long line. But the young lady at the cashier was nice and friendly. Tables at the restaurant are first come first serve. So if you get a table after you order you are definitely lucky! I will definitely going back:)"

"As a Southern CA native, I spent my early years in the WMA searching in vain for a solid taco shop. Luckily I stumbled over Costalilla, and now it’s a regular stop for me. Depending on the crew working they’ll sometimes make carne asada fries (off-menu), which guarantees my returning and suggesting to friends."

"Oh my goodness! One of the best tacos places I’ve had in a while! I placed my order of 2 lengua and one Al pastor tacos to go and they were priced pretty cheap especially for the beef tongue. It came out sooo fast! They have a bar where you can dress your tacos yourself so if you’re not a fan of onions and cilantro, you won’t have it. The tacos were so hot to the touch which made me happy knowing they were FRESH. The beef tongue was so tender, they did a good job of cutting off the fat. Would HIGHLY recommend coming here. I will definitely be coming back to try some other items on the menu. Y’all did an amazing job!"
