"Everything here is spectacular. The food is amazing, the interior is cozy and warm, and it is located right on the waterfront. The whisky and cocktail selections are excellent, something you can't get anywhere else. If you're going at a popular time, I would recommend getting a reservation, as they do get busy. A bit of a pricey option, but the quality is definitely worth it, fairly typical for old town."
"Stopped by to get some appetizers for a quick bite; enjoyed myself and had a great time. Got the Duck Poutine, Chips & Dip, and some Chicken Flautas. Absolutely was a lot of food and I'm glad we chose only those options. Also got a glass of wine and regular hot cider. If you find yourself near here, stop by... and you should probably even make this a destination as well. Food and service was awesome, atmosphere is very welcoming. Timber frame beams really help with their rustic look."
"Our group really enjoyed the atmosphere, it was very relaxed and fun. The food was fantastic- we had the blistered shishito peppers, scotch eggs, spinach and apple salad with steak, steak and fries, as well as various drinks. I am gluten free, so I appreciated that they marked the gluten free items with a clear GF on the menu. The drink special for the week was the Gingerbread Parlor Punch was adorable and delicious! It was on the pricier side, but definitely worth it!"
"I have had the opportunity to visit this establishment twice, once for a Friday dinner and more recently, for a Saturday breakfast. First and foremost, I must acknowledge the staff's excellent energy and professionalism and willingness to see to it that their patrons have a great dining experience. In addition, the establishment decore adds to the dining experience. I scheduled an 8:30 pm reservation on this day and arrived at around 7:15 pm. The receptionist worked to get me a table earlier to free up the reservation, and we had an excellent seat upstairs in the dining room. We ordered the fried Brussels and calamari for starters and ended up getting street tacos for dinner. The descriptions were very appealing, and I went against the waitresses' recommendations, unfortunately. The Brussels were great, and the calamari was tasty while there were a few tough pieces, keeping it far from perfection. I found my shrimp tacos to be rather chewy-tough and would not order it again. However, the great service and signature Old Fashioned that I ordered saved the day, ultimately, and the environment is upbeat, but not agitating. My next visit was for breakfast. We arrived at about 9:30 am and were seated promptly with a party ahead and another behind us. This time, we sat downstairs near the kitchen in a half booth/table. I could hear the wooden floor boards bending and squeaking overhead which was initially unsettling, but eventually became accostomed. I ordered the country fried steak, and my partner got the breakfast Burrito. The burrito was fabulous with a homemade feel and light seasoning... My country fried steak was a little tough, and the flour gravy was more like a light-sauce, not my preference. The potatoes were exceptional, and I enjoyed the soft yolk egg that was the staple of the salty egg. I would order something different the next time. The coffee was delicious, and the seasonal beverage, the gingerbread parlor punch, was worth the price. This venue seems to be most consistent when it comes to the drinks while on the pricier side. I look forward to returning and advise you to do the same. One of the best aspects of the venue is that they offer higher end dishes priced at 30 and above while having dishes in the teens and twenties, so you can mix and match your preferences among food and drinks as it pleases you and your wallet."
"Great food. Great service. Nice view of the water. Our server was friendly and made great suggestions for lunch. Would definitely return. We had blistered shishito peppers, an apple salad with steak and fish tacos. Everything was fresh and well prepared. We also had two cocktails that were delicious too!"
