"I booked for a Silk Press, Condition and Trim. thru Booksy. I booked the appointment on a Tuesday for today Saturday, December 9, 2023. Veronica gave me a Blowout, Conditioner and Trim and tried to convince me that it was a Silk Press. This woman fried my hair. The whole time I was thinking I could’ve went to the Dominican Salon for this and saved me $100.00 dollars. When she completed my hair I asked when was I going back under the dryer for the steam/silk process and she said I was done. Girl my hair looked like something the mother of the church would ware on a bad hair day and she took pictures without asking. As if she did amazing work. Here comes the finally, she tried to charge me $175.00. Tracy’s review is accurate avoid this place if you want a good hair do. I am on my way to Popeyes cause she got my hair smelling like fried chicken!"

"AVOID AVOID AVOID.... I never leave reviews, but my experience here was so awful that I hope can save someone wasted time and stress. I saw the bad reviews of this place and ignored them because the location was convenient. I showed up to my scheduled appointment 10 minutes early. There was a woman doing a client's nails. I cheerfully said, "Hi, I have an appointment with Veronica". She responded rudely, "NO, YOU DON'T". I said, "yes, for 11:15 today for a hair weave". The rude woman responded, "no you don't. Veronica's not here today. She said someone might try to come in here, but she's not here". I never received any call or text that she wouldn't be in and the staff member I dealt with was unbelievably rude and dismissive. There are other hair braiding/weave places in the area and multiple places to get your nails done. Avoid Hair on You. And if the owner (Veronica) responds to this and tries to gaslight readers, just remember she has something to gain, I dont. Avoid her business."

"Veronica is the owner and is very professional, does hair fast and STARTS ON TIME. The main negative stereotype about black owned salons is the long wait time. But she does a wonderful job and is respectful of your time. She's colored both my teens hair ombre style."

"So first off, I just moved here from SC and I needed someone quick to give me a blowout for the weekend, I called the hair salon ahead of time asking how much it cost to get my hair blow dryed, she said 65. It seems very pricey but the one on base ( I live in the military) said 65 also ,so I went to Hair on me, since it was the same price, I went over, she seems very nice and went straight to washing my hair. No one was in the salon so I just thought it was a slow day. She washed my hair, blow dry it, and straighten it, asked if I wanted my ends cut I said yes, I can tell she was very old styled because she "bump my ends" a little bit. I looked like I aged 3 years. Never asked if I wanted it that way. I didn't like it! So when it was time to pay her we was about to give her 65 like she said on the phone, now she saying it's 75!! Like what?!! My husband who was there with me looked at me in shock, I never had to pay that much for a blowout!!!! She said it's because she had to silk press my hair!! Then why did you do it!! I felt played and cheated.. to all of my friends and family I don't recommend going there , they need to be honest with there customers. And if you like older styles go for it! It just was not me."
