"We had fish and chips and they were excellent! Piping hot, crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. Tartar sauce was very good. Candice was our server and she was great."

"We were there this past Friday night around happy hour time. It was busy, but not overcrowded. Music was good. Burger was good. Do not order the cheesesteak sandwich. Not enough chopped steak, probably a half cup. Fries were great."

"We stopped in for lunch on a Monday. It was quiet but we were quickly invited in to sit and offered drinks. The place looks fresh and even some minor interior work was still being done. The food was hot and tasted great! The burger was fantastic and my hubs had the special grilled cheese! Awesome fries!"

"Gave Island Pub a try today and had an excellent dinning experience. Quick lunch with a hot Ham and Cheese sandwich with fries. Ham wasn't slices but actual carved chunks and the cheese was good. Wife had French Onion Soup and a Salad and said it was good as well. Server was good but still learning the finer points of the menu. Really like the Bar, Pub Table, and restraunt style seating in a large open floor plan. Overall a good experience today."

"First experience with the new restaurant. I like the new layout with the walls removed and the additional Tvs, dart board, and stage. Our waitress doesn't stay at your table long enough to give multiple orders, she often drops and runs. The place was packed and it's unfortunate that the seating isn't more organized because I watched several tables leave after sitting for awhile and not being waited on. Food was mediocre - my friend at the table said the burger was delicious, my other friend had to send her chicken Caesar salad back because there was very little chicken. I ordered the buffalo chicken wings and gravy fries. The wings were meaty and the buffalo sauce was not super spicy - but the wings were not that hot temperature wise. The fries were nothing special. The gravy was ok but we are pretty sure it's from a jar. The best thing we had was the brownie from the brownie sundae. The vanilla ice cream again just ok. The pours on the wine were good. I recognize it's a new restaurant and my review is not like a few of the others. I chalk it up to growing pains and look forward to giving another try soon."
