"This was my first time dining in the Merriwether District. Everything has a very classy - modern look to it. There was a decent amount of seating available when I arrived. The food seems to be made from fresh ingredients. There seemed to be an issue ordering the steak in our meals not cooked Well Done. The burrito while not delicious was also not very memorable. For $15, I was looking for higher quality guacamole. All in all a decent experience. Just bite that the customer service and atmosphere are carrying a heavier load as the food is average."

"I've been to Banditos a few times now and we've always been met with excellent and timely service. Our most recent visit, Sarah was helping us and she was amazing! She took great care of us, and helped us seamlessly use our Banditos rewards from the app. The food itself is good, if a little overpriced - I recommend coming in for Happy Hour when possible. My favorite tacos are the pork belly, the avocado and the blackened shrimp. Would recommend, but always leave feeling like the bill is a little steeper than it should be."

"No complaints at all! By far one of my top recommendations when it comes to going somewhere for taco Tuesday ! My nachos were fulfilled every bit of me! The extra two soft tacos was just an added bonus . I serve was cool. He was attentive and soon as we sat down he was ready to serve . The wait between getting our drinks and food was definitely slim to none . Other than the whole place is a vibe . Don’t see a complaint at all"

"So this place was very bi-polar to me. Some things were excellent, some not, but the inconsistency was what made it odd. First off, their chips and salsa were excellent, some of the best I've had. Salsa served slightly warm (at least ours was!), and the dusted seasoning on the home made chips were just awesome. Then margaritas. My wife and I ordered two each over the course of apps and dinner. Every one we had (tasted each other's) was completely different - from the same bartender! One was excellent with a smoky tequila, another too sweet with obviously not the same tequila, another too sour, etc. All drinks ordered were just the 'house' margarita on the rocks. Also, some were in small plastic cups, another in a large plastic cup, another in a glass. Just odd. Overall the food was very good. I had a blackened shrimp taco and fried fish taco (bartender said the blackened fish taco often gets returned for some reason). Beans were excellent, rice was fluffy and good but not a stand out at all. My wife's steak and shrimp quesadilla was very tasty but had a lot of breading and cheese, also a bit greasy. So it was very 'indulgent', she ended up leaving a lot of the breading and just eating the meat. So overall,I'd say if you want Mexican and you're going to a show at merriweather? Sure it's a good option. The Indian place next door is phenomenal but opens later."
