"Dinner this evening was at the Bowie location. Our server Maya was very pleasant, friendly, and attentive to our order, especially when I asked about the cole slaw. Cole slaw was creamy with the right amount of sweetness. Food was good, but the wings were a little too hard for my liking as well as the slow cooked sausage. Both had a great flavor. My dinner companion ordered the grilled cheese brisket sandwich with loaded mashed potatoes. It was excellent!! We also ordered the cornbread, which came with honey pecan butter. Delicious!!"

"Maya was amazing. This was my first visit here EVER… definitely not my last. Maya provided amazing service. She gave me great suggestions for the food order. The barbecue chicken left me wishing I had gotten the 1/2 instead of the 1/4. Maya allowed me to celebrate my little one. Nice atmosphere! I will definitely be back. Came all the way from Waldorf! "Greeted at the door with a big smile. Maya was a delight, friendly and knowledgeable on the menu. She actually talked the table into ordering the special. Food came out pretty quick, was hot and delicious. We look forward to another visit on our next trip."

"We just moved here from NY. We loved our NY Smokey Bones location, so we thought we’d try this location. We ordered cocktails, apps, and a beer. We were sitting at the bar. The drinks took 20 minutes to get to us, and the cocktails were undrinkable. Both my husband and I were bartenders, so we are very very understanding when it comes to service, but this was by far the worst service we had ever received in any restaurant. The restaurant was practically empty, so this poor of service doesn’t seem to have an excuse. It took over an hour for us to get 1 of the 3 appetizers that we ordered (all ordered at the same time). Took 20+ minutes for each drink. We were never given silverware, napkins, or straws, and the bartender didn’t come over for us to even ask. Even cashing out took a half hour. We ended up going next door for amazing cocktails and fantastic service. The food at Smokey Bones was good, but we probably won’t be returning due to the poor service and bad drinks."
