"As I learned pawn shops don't pay much for anything. And will definitely tell you what they don't and do want. I've gotten to know one of the employees here and he's really tried to help me with his advice. After never having any experience with pawn shops myself. For example I brought in my new Martin crossbow with a great scope attached and another compound bow because I bought a new crossbow from a friend that's well over 400fps. I offered him both for 20 bucks. Both of my weapons were top of the line he advised me that they don't buy any type of bows anymore due the liabilities . He also advised me to try to sell anything on a local market place first before bringing the items to the store which I don't have time to do but again very helpful for someone else maybe. Although I did go directly to another local pawn shop and sold my items immediately especially the way that I do it. I just give them a extremely low price because I just want to get rid of it or I just donate it as I do over half of the things I get biding on storage units. I like bidding on units and finding something valuable from time to time. Great advice for amitures trying to sell it first on the Facebook marketplace."
