"The Maryland Crab Soup was delicious. For my entree, I ordered a half of pound of steamed shrimp. I had no issues with the size of the shrimp, but they were not deviened and extremely hard to peal. My wife had a shrimp salad sandwich and fries"

"I bought two soft shell crabs. Not knowing they were females, assuming males (as usual) they were not cleaned, which I did. Not really a deal breaker. However, the soft shell meat (which I have made many times) was soft, powder consistency, gross. Had to throw away. Won't purchase those again without asking sex of crab and how long those suckers have been frozen. Otherwise place was clean, workers right there to fill order"

"I absolutely love Captain Dan's. I was raised in Carroll County and live in northwest Montana. Everytime I visit Maryland, I stop by Captain Dan's for lunch. I also order several dozen steamed crabs to bring back with me. The folks at Captain Dan's always do me right. The crabs are steamed, cooled, and packed very well for shipping. The box goes in the cargo hold with the rest of my checked baggage. In all the years I have been bringing crabs to Montana, I have never had a problem. You all do a great job!"

"My husband and I went to Captain Dan’s Crabhouse for some steamed shrimp and crab cakes since we didn’t have the budget for a bushel of crabs. We were seated after a very short wait. The staff was friendly and professional. The pitcher of beer was nice and cold. I had a bite of my husband’s crab cakes, and it was one of the best crab cakes I’ve ever had. Nothing gimicky on the menu. Just nailed down on cooking and seasoning the food perfectly. Would definitely return!!"
