Annapolis Immigration Justice Network

The Annapolis Immigration Justice Network (AIJN) is a volunteer-supported organization located at 1125 West Street in Annapolis, Maryland. Founded in April 2017, AIJN is dedicated to providing equal justice for all people, regardless of their citizenship status.

Our mission is to connect asylum seekers and other vulnerable immigrants to quality legal counsel and direct case management support. We work with partners such as law schools, legal firms, faith organizations, and the business community to ensure that our clients have access to the legal services they need.

Our case management team, led by bilingual case manager Jenny O'Neill, supports clients as they pursue pathways to legal status. We also offer transportation and moral support for federal immigration hearings, ICE check-ins, and attorney consultations through our accompaniment program.

Additionally, our legal fund provides financial assistance to families and individuals who require attorney representation to pursue legal status. We believe in the right to due process and strive to provide hope, stability, and long-term solutions to the threats of unjust deportation and family separation.

AIJN has strong partnerships with organizations such as the Partnership for Children, Youth and Families in Anne Arundel County, Tahirih Justice Center, and Kids In Need of Defense (KIND). We also work closely with other area agencies and organizations to support our clients and advocate for immigration justice.
