"First appointment was great, the hygienist was absolutely amazing really deep cleaned my teeth. Dr. was great and was willing to help me with my concern. Fast forward i had a filling break in the back tooth that was painful, called to schedule emergency appointment. I arrive and another dentist whom I’ve never met (much older ) comes in looks at my tooth and says you wanna keep the tooth or lose it, i say keep it, he says you need root canal call this number and walks out. No explanation, no nothing and I’ve never met this dentist and he was simply rude. I go to the front and say i don’t know if i need to schedule anything else he didn’t tel me. So I’m due to come back again for another appointment and was called in last minute to work DUE TO THE FACT WE ARE IN A PANDEMIC, and i missed my appointment. I receive a letter saying to find another dentist!! Blessing in disguise I’ve found another dentist that i absolutely love. Don’t go here they are rude and dump patients without being able to explain or be understanding of the circumstances of the pandemic we are in."

"After leaving work for my last day by ambulance on 4/30/2014 it was determined I had serious medical issues which culminated with hospitalizations on 9 separate occasions for weekly stays on each occasion and not including 3 major operations with additional hospitalizations. I was notified by Dr. Porter's office that I was no longer welcomed to be his patience for i missed 2 dental cleanings without notification or verification by his office. Being extremely I'll I never even bother to address his rejection for i had enough concerns on my plate. It's been 2 and 1/2 years later a lot of rehab but I'm about 70% recovered. I went out on medical disability and have no dental insurance but did have dental issues. I called the doctor's office to ask for reconsideration and his secretary called me back 2 days later, saying they weren't interested in resuming a patience doctor relationship, a lot of compassion must have gone through that process. THE GOOD NEWS THOUGH TEMPLE SCHOOL OF DENTISTRY WITH MINIMUM PAYMENTS WERE MORE THAN HAPPY TO ADDRESS MY CONCERNS AND UNLIKE Dr Porter COULDN'T HAVE BEEN MORE PROFESSIONAL. I STRONGLY SUGGEST ANYONE WHO NEEDS GOOD DENTAL WORK SHOULD LOOK INTO THEIR SCHOOL IT''SO EXTREMELY REASONABLE. The 64 years of experience your receiving now is only going through the motions and your paying top dollar for it. The ironic part of all this is my issue were implants I received through doctor porter's office and from what I'm told should have lasted a lot longer than they have, if not for life. So you decide how much quality work you are receiving,"
