"This is a fun place to go for some good casual seafood, nice view, and good service. The crab cake sandwich was big and full of meat. The onion rings were crispy and well seasoned. The New England clam chowder was a bit of a disappointment. It was a little too thick for my tastes and I've had my share of NE clam chowders! On a Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. the bar was packed with football fans and plenty of TVs showing the games. The weather in November was crisp and cool but sunny enough to sit outside and enjoy our meal by the water."
"I’m local, and I don’t eat at Jetty too often. Usually just bar food (which is really good). Mainly come for beer and music. Had friends in town this past weekend, and they wanted crabs. So we decided to try Jetty. I’m kind of a crab snob, but didn’t have any grandiose expectations. But oh boy, did we hit the jackpot. Local Chester River crabs. The jumbos were HUGE and HEAVY. Honestly, the best crabs I’ve had in a long, long time. Our waitress was wicked busy, but she did a fabulous job. The bar staff was also very helpful. See for yourself."
"Had the grouper tacos for lunch. They were okay, not the best but not the worst. Service was slow, yet it wasn't packed for the 130 p.m. crowd. The best part was sitting on the beach side at the tables that moved back and forth next to the water."
"The jumbo crab cake sandwich was fantastic. The seafood here seems to be the real drawcard. The beer selection is mostly domestics, it's not a place for craft beer if that's what you are chasing. There's a decent tropical/nautical themed cocktail list. I enjoyed the live music and atmosphere for a Tuesday night, the bar was bustling through until late. The location out on the water is a great spot. The service at the bar was a little slower than usual, but got there in the end."
"Stopped in on a Thursday at lunch while visiting the area with my adult daughters. Always a fun atmosphere and it was a beautiful day. We shared the Shrimp & Avocado Ceviche. It was outstanding! I had peel ‘n eat steamed shrimp that were perfect. One daughter had Grouper Tacos and the other had Shrimp Tacos."
