Prime 225

"This was a last minute reward for a young employee. Called to make reservation and nothing available early. I said we would then try to arrive at 5 to sit and eat at bar. Woman I was speaking to replied we now require reservations at bar as well ? I thought that’s new and kind of odd, but they can operate as they like. We arrived at 5 and I said I had reservations at the bar. The young lady had a strange look until another woman walked up and they spoke and they told us to go and sit at the bar. We ended up squeezing in at the end. This seemed to irritate the bartender, at least initially. She warmed up to us and ended up going out of her way to provide top notch service. This is the only time in 8 visits customer focus was off. I was uncomfortable enough that if it was my wife and I, we would have left the bar right after sit down. Since it was a reward and my employee’s first and only visit I felt it was not an option and thankfully it only got better. Still unsure what caused confusion at check in and frustration of bartender? Look, this would have been 5 stars at 95% of the surrounding restaurants, but I have experienced their best efforts numerous times. Just a bit strange. The food always steals the show and the atmosphere warm and cozy."

"WOW! Chesapeake City isn't exactly a bastion of culinary expertise but Prime 225 absolutely hits it out of the park! Make a reservation or don't bother showing up, including the bar. Seating is limited so the feel is intimate but homey too. The wait staff were friendly and helpful, exactly what you would expect in this type of restaurant. Let's face it, it's all about the food with a restaurant and Prime delivers. The menu has more than enough to satisfy all different tastes, their wine menu is consummate with the food menu and the prices are in-line with the quality of the food you get. We shared a couple of appetizers at our table, the crab dip and oysters were outstanding. I had the tuna and a bite of my sons filet, both were superior to pretty much every other restaurant that isn't a high end steak house. If you live in the area you already know Prime, if you're passing through or vacationing anywhere within 25 miles of Chesapeake City, make a reservation, your tastebuds will thank you."

"There is nothing worse than going out for what you expect to be a perfect meal just to get mediocre food, shotty service and an extreme bill. Tonight’s date night at Prime 225 delivered!!! My husband and I enjoyed our first experience tonight. Everything was fantastic! Food, beverages and service was 5 star! If you are searching for a pristine restaurant that offers an excellent dining experience, then go to Prime 225. Definitely make a reservation and request Heather! We live in Perryville and will drive past North East out to Chesapeake City each and every time we want a five star fine dining experience!"

"My husband and I visited on 2/10 fpr our anniversary and did we enjoy everything about Prime 225. Our waitress Kayla was awesome. The GM manager Frank personally came over to check on us and introduce himself which I thought was a nice touch to assure we were satisfied. We are already looking forward to visiting again. Definitely will be telling everyone to try it. Truly a hidden gem!"
