"Worst lawyer I have ever dealt with!!!! The day of my dad's social security hearing we found out that the lawyer had withdrawn from representing him!!! No call, no email, no snail mail! I spoke with someone that so called handles the paperwork and medical records 14 days before his hearing and she never said anything about withdrawing from the case!!!! Ridiculous!"
"They are very good they are my lawyer rite now"
"I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HORRIBLE ATTORNEY LAPAT TO ANYONE FOR ANYTHING HE IS EXTREMELY NASTY AND UNPROFESSIONAL, HE FOLLOWS NO RULES OTHER THEN HIS ON, THE MOST ARROGANT PERSON I HAVE EVER MET, AND DON'T CARE TO MEET OR SPEAK WITH HIM EVER"
"They don't do anything for you and they were so rude to my mom yesterday they need to get their life together"
"I do not know how to put my name above, because I have no problem saying who I am. My name is Amanda, and I just ended the phone call with Mr. Lapat. Unfortunately, I was reminded of why I feel the way I do about legal counsel. He returned my initial call and due to his rush and pressure to answer his questions (when I was trying to remember specific dates for him from the last question) I didn't get to mention important things. How would I think of my important, unique points that make me an individual instead of a file on your desk, if you are asking me questions based on stereo types and assumptions. Maybe you should stop flapping and making people so nervous inside the two minutes it took you to decide YOU couldn't help me, you should have thought since my disability was taken away due to paperwork, I'm a little upset. Not you, me. You didn't get to hear that there is a reason behind it all. But if you expected this to be open and shut and you can't handle more than that, I agree, you can't help me. You would actually have to work with me and be a lawyer with a team who can organize records. I was only explaining that my health has worsened since I thought I had gotten well enough to try and make anything of myself. Something more than a free rider. When I developed chronic pancreatitis along with my other chronic GI issues that have sometimes left me incontinent, I knew I wouldn't be able to work traditionally. I only trust one doctor not to put me on medications that could hurt me. That is my right as a patient. He knows my body and has almost my whole life. This would be part of your explanation when you would represent me and explain my moral stance, my catch 22, and my case. There was much more you could have heard before you assume!Ed in under two minutes. You couldn't help me because you could tell in my voice I have expectations of you as a lawyer, because I know I meet the criteria to be a patient of my doctor, a client of yours, and a return recipient of benefits. Also, I am a great paralegal and probably could have been a part of a career changing case for you. However, you were right, it doesn't seem like you can do things like that. Thank you for your presumptions, rushed attitude, and condescending personality. I would have been the person to keep on the phone. I can see you don't really care about feelings and the struggle your disabled clientele go through. At least you didn't hide the foreshadowing of the attorney/client relationship. That is why I gave you a star. Again, good luck with the career. Hopefully, you learn not to assume and realize you are not emotionally affected, the people you speak to, are. This is your job. I also have another attorney for family court against my abuser. I apologize you didn't get your coffee today, but the people you talk to might be having a rough morning, too. I was able to answer the phone because I wasn't throwing up at that moment. I was only explaining that my issues that are now the reason it is even more impossible to work, weren't discovered until after I was found disabled. Even after I explained this has my weight below 100lbs, the fact that I am even more sick does not matter. So I am left here with a lapse in my disability, hoping I can correct it before I lose anymore weight and am put on a feeding tube. I repeated myself to you that it wasnt "a hundred years ago". Maybe you should listen and stop being on your own mission on your own time schedule. Try a sensitivity course. You're a disability lawyer when you clearly have a talent for dealing with guilty people. I really hope you help the next person better than you did me."
