"We had a great tour. Our driver, Joe, was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about the area's history. My wife enjoyed the ghost and darker historical stories. He stopped in a few places so we could get out and take pictures."
"Went to the Poconos for a long weekend. We were a little late for the peak leaf colors but it was a beautiful area. We decided to take the Pocono Historic Trolley Tour. An outstanding historical tour through beautiful mountain and river roads. The guide was excellent and the information was fascinating. If you like history and the outdoors, you won't be disappointed."
"They didn’t have good time control at stops. Two different times we had the same couple wander off. Also roads were detoured that were unknown requiring rerouting on roads they didn’t know. Limited history overall compared to other tours. I would not do this again. Due to the delays our 1.5-2 hr tour was almost 3 hrs. We missed another tour we had booked."
"Had a great time with Pocono Joe. Trolly tour was great. Very informative and entertaining. They stopped at little hidden gems that you wouldn't of stopped at on your own. Chocolate was delicious and we loved the slate museum. They offer discounts with some of the local shops and stops along the way."
"Tour was informative and pretty, but apparently a large chunk of Rt 611 is closed right where the waterfalls are. So the only waterfall you see is a blink-n-you-miss-it little one in someone's backyard. This should be noted on the website as it's the main reason we picked this trolley. Because 611 is closed, the trolley goes down Interstate 80 instead. Of course there are no seatbelts, airbags or windows so cruising at highway speeds like that, is unsafe and probably frowned upon. Be quick with the camera because this thing isn't slow. Avoid the A&N chocolate shop unless you want to be accosted and harassed for NOT speaking to the miserable old woman there. Tour guide was mortified by her behavior and apologized profusely. Otherwise the stops made are quite cool."
