Reviews
"The property is gorgeous, with short hiking trails intertwined across the wooded terrain. The accomodations at the wilderness camp were quite comfortable, better than I expected, and the recreational offerings are excellent."
"Have gone here for a few summers now, and I couldn't recommend anywhere else! Great fellowship, activities, food, and staff. 5 stars!"
"Twas a good, good time at Spruce Lake. I was here on a church retreat and we had such a good time. Many of the people I was with, grew up in the city. So it was absolutely hilarious seeing them in the country. Made for some good laughs. But this place is great. The setup was amazing for what we needed. And it was so soothing to get into nature and soak up God's creation. Sitting by the lake, spending solitude in the woods, and good conversations by the fire. Everything was great and we had an incredible weekend."
"Wonderful camp! Great fellowship here during men's retreat. Love this place."
"My wife went here as a kid and loved it. My son is less outdoorsy and likes it okay enough. Surprising lack of mosquitoes, despite being in the woods and near water. Campers sleep in large tents on platforms. Lots of good, clean, fun. Campers. Eat lunch and dinner in the mess hall and have breakfast made by their tent counselor every morning just outside the tent. Swimming in the pool at the nearby retreat center, boating, zipline, lots of games. Everything a wilderness Bible Camp should be."
