Reviews
"They said I will speak to a lawyer after paying for the consultation. What they don't tell you is that the lawyer sets an appointment weeks after you paid for the consultation. The lawyer rescheduled on me and it seems like the bar association is blocking my calls. I'm upset with myself for not looking at the reviews before paying. Never again!"
"Modest means was very helpful regarding our PFA case for my stepdaughter and initial hearings. Scott Jacob's is a phenomenal lawyer and our family would recommend him to anyone. However modest means does not help with custody trial so for that I have to give 4 stars. Families do not suddenly have $3500 available just because the type of hearing changes."
"No response WHAT SO EVER 6 months 3 calls. Waste of time...."
"In June of this year I found myself a victim in need of an attorney so I tried contacting the Berks County Bar Association for a referral. First I sent an email and waited one week. When I did not hear back I called several times over a few days and no one would answer so I left a voicemail for Lucy Pritto. I never got any response to my request for assistance. I then wrote to President Judge Thomas G. Parisi about the non-response and he refused to respond to me also. That's how much they care at Berks County Courthouse. ***Follow Up: 10 months later still no response form anyone as I'm certain they truly do not care about anyone but themselves.****"
"If I can give this less than 1 star I would the set up for 1 is very unprofessional only 1 desk clerk to handle calls. And only lawyer referral service in town. Calls never get answered I had called various times for lawyer referral services and only received a answer 1 time. The clerk never connected me to a lawyer or fulfilled her duty. This place is bad if looking for a lawyer even if it's a month in advance extremely slow - nonresponsive services over the phone which makes it even worst during these covid pandemic times."
