"EDIT: since the installation of this new liner, I had felt that my pool was still leaking, but the amount was so little I felt it was from the lack of rain last summer. In August 2022, I had my plumbing tested for leaks and all clear. Open my pool this May, it is almost completely drained. The Pool Doctor, when finally answered my call, said the pool had to be balanced before he would come and look at it. Took 6 weeks of calling before I got a response. They come look at it but refer me to A DIFFERENT pool company to test for leaks since they are unable to do it. Colley’s comes out and finds the hole, which was noted to me was from liner instillation and not from playing in the pool. The Pool Doctor Tells me I “waited too long” to contact them and they won’t do anything. Now I have a patch in a one year old liner. The Pool Doctor has a terrible reputation, and now I know exactly why. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND- UNLESS YOU WANT TO SPEND MORE MONEY FIXING THEIR MISTAKES. I had been on a waitlist at another popular pool business to replace my liner since the summer of Covid, 2 years. I called this other company in April to find out where I was on the list, as my liner desperately needed replaced and I had a leak. This is when the other pool company tells me that they are only servicing customers that they had installed their pools. I, like most homeowners, bought a home with an existing pool. I was very upset to find out I had been waiting for 2 years for nothing. I called around several places to find out who installed/built my pool… still waiting for most of them to call me back, even the one who “thinks” they installed my pool. I called the Pool Doctor, who graciously agreed to help me out. The Pool Doctor came out within a week to measure my pool and told me it would take about 5 weeks to order and receive the custom liner. They called me earlier than expected to let me know that they received the liner and they were ready to install. They came the night before to drain the pool and installed my new liner the next day. It was obvious the crew that came to my house was experienced, as they worked like a well oiled machine! They were extremely professional and cleaned up after they were finished. They installed my liner in one day. I even text the owner the morning of the install day to see if they would remove some old fiber optic lights that were sun dried. They did an amazing and beautiful job. I am so impressed! Please call them for any of your pool needs. They never made me feel like an inconvenience like other pool companies do, as everyone is experience staffing issues. I cannot say enough amazing things about this company. I cannot thank them enough for saving my pool. Above and beyond!! I went from an old faded blue liner to a beautiful new liner that makes me feel like I am in Mexico! The pics speak for themselves…"
"Quality equipment, professional service, great results What I learned from friends, colleagues and family about pool installations is they tend to start late and finish later. This isn’t necessarily a reflection on the contractor, but rather the uncontrollable factors that affect the timeline and the need to manage multiple customers at once to be a viable, healthy business. The factors that impacted my project were weather, subcontractor labor shortages, and supply chain. I work for a manufacturing company and can appreciate the supply chain and labor challenges – COVID changed the market, and these challenges persist. As a result of all that, a 3-week job turned into 2 months. I wanted to host a grad party and 4th of July party…both came and went with the delays and frustrations mounted. Sometimes the stars do align and a job goes exactly as planned, but that wasn’t my case. During it all, Andrew (owner) stayed in touch and returned my texts if I sent him a question or concern. I say all this upfront for perspective. There are factors outside of everyone’s control and (again) I am not the only customer. When pool equipment was late coming in, I didn’t expect Andrew to halt all other business because, well, there is a business to run still. The easy response is “Delays are not my problem and figure it out”, but we stayed in constant communication and worked together on getting it to the finish line. When the job finished and we had our first pool party with friends and family, I was 100% happy and reminded myself that we have decades of pool seasons ahead. Just like the delays I experienced when building my home and getting furniture, all is right with the world when it is complete. The wait is worth it. Andrew’s team was always courteous, took the time to answer all my questions and show me how to use the equipment and apply best practice techniques to maintain the pool during the season. I am amazed at how light touch that maintenance is. Salt systems are a huge part of that, and the Jandy pool and heater systems are intuitive and simple to use. Our pool is approximately 16’ x 40’ with an 8’ deep end and integrated spa and it was bath water in a matter of hours from a cold state. When the iAqualink app was setup and connected to my WiFi network, I could control the pump system and bounce between settings for pool use and pool not in use. The app will also provide information back to the Pool Doctor team as needed to help maintain the system. Part of this ease of use is Andrew’s team proactively checking in to make sure everything is working properly and the water is treated properly. Basically, my job is to skim, vacuum and swim. Simple and fun! In addition to how beautiful the pool turned out, the cement work has brought many compliments as well – the surface, including the cantilever edging has a slate look to it in terms of texture and color. When it gets another seal coat in the spring, I’ll be adding some grit to it for added grip – it can be slippery when wet. The sound system, landscaping, grill gazebo, adjacent patio room, and lights in and around the pool add to the ambiance and create the resort atmosphere that was desired – couldn’t be happier! Closing the pool took a couple hours and the team walked me through the process to give me a general understanding of what it entailed. Even though I’ll use them for openings and closings going forward, I appreciated the walkthrough and understanding that they gave me. So, if I had to start over, would I still go back to Pool Doctor? The answer is yes. The confidence in that answer only grows when I hear from my work colleagues and friends about their pool installation experiences and MORE importantly are the quality results I got. I am looking forward to Spring!"
"Great company to work with. We had several issues that needed addressed with the pool and filter system and didn't know how to approach them. Andrew took the time to help us understand what our options were and short time after, his crew was there to replace the faulty equipment and make any additional repairs. The crew took care of business and was very courteous. They ensured we knew how to use the filtering equipment and made recommendations for settings based on our usage of the pool."
"We have been using the The Pool Doctor for 3 years now. They open & close our pool every year. Andrew and his team have always been professional and helpful in every way possible. They are knowledgeable and happy to teach. Andrew does not nickle and dime his customers. He focuses on customer service and making sure we understand what we need, how to do it & that our pools are taken care of. I 100% recommend The Pool Doctor. Thank Andrew to and your team."
"Pool Doctor has amazing service and you will not be disappointed. Do you know when you contact a contractor or professional that never calls you back or takes forever to follow up with you? Well, Andrew is the owner and he is the complete opposite of that. Expect amazing service and calls back / follow ups. I even text him at this point. He has my pool fixed up with salt, a new pump, cover, new liner, heater, and it works 10x better than it ever had in the past. I have a new spa going in a few weeks and working with Andrew has been fast and easy. The pool doctor uses excellent equipment that will last and work well. My new pump is working so well and it uses 5x less power so it is paying for itself. So, if you are looking for cheap junk to install yourself this is not your guy, but if you want your pool and spa working great - then call Andrew."
