Reviews
"They never ever open on time.. it’s absolutely ridiculous. On top of never opening on time the people that work her are so SLOW… Worst pharmacy I have ever been too. Do not waste your time here"
"I surprised that there are only 5 reviews for this pharmacy and that only one of them is negative. There HAS to be more dissatisfied customers. I can't be the only one who tired of the unbelievably bad service, incredible ineptness and general incompetence on display here. Most of this stems from one african male pharmacist. Time and time again this pharmacy has failed me in various ways and the pattern of responses is this: First, it's the doctors's fault - call your doctor's office, I sent a message to your doctors office and they did not respond etc. Each time I check with the docor's office, they have not been contacted. Second, it's the insurance company's fault - they would not approve it, it didn't go through, etc then it miraculously goes through when they submit it with me standing there at the counter. it seems that the mess-ups happen and then they try to feed the customer whatever line of bull they think will be accepted and become defensive and argumentative when the customer questions the response. Again, I'm mainly speaking of one particular pharmacist. The final straw for me is this: A prescription for a vital medication was sent to this pharmacy on December 27th. On January 3rd, I tried to pick the medication up and was told by that particular pharmacist that it was not ready. He at first indicated that the prescription was expired and when I challenged that he said that a prior approval was necessary. I knew that both of these were not the case. He kept saying, "you have to call your doctor, call your doctor. " The next day, January 3rd, I called the doctor's office and of course, they had not heard anything from the pharmacy. Another lie. On January 5th, I called the pharmacy again to inquire about the prescription and was first told that they needed to have the doctor's office renew the prescription. I reiterated that this was a new prescription for a medication that I had been getting from this pharmace for a long time. I told the tech to keep scrolling and she would find an active prescription. I could hear the particular pharmacist speaking to her in the background. I'm guessing that she found the current prescription (no acknowledgement) because then I was told that I need to bring in a new prescripition card. I know that this is not true because I have the exact same insurance as last year and not one number or letter n the insurance card has changed. Here we go again with the excuses. They can never admit an error, just give excuses/lies. I'm sure that this is not the way Safeway wants it's pharmacies run, but I don't expect anything to change for the better after they are informed. I'm through with this pharmacy. I'm taking my expensive prescriptions elsewhere."
"I’ve known the pharmacist for years. They work hard, very hard and try their very best on behalf of their patients. Thank you guys for always being helpful, compassionate, professional, friendly."
"I haven't received a good service from the pharmacy at this location, I've been put on long holds on the phone and in the store. I've waited for my prescription to be filled, sposed to get them latest on Monday and today is Wednesday for me to call them to see what is happening and find out now the pharmacist going to call the vendor just because I called in. Otherwise God knows when they would check on the status."
