"Allstate keeps emailing me and asking for reviews so I gave them 2 stars. I have been with this company since 2014 for renters insurance as each apartment I rent requires their tenants to have insurance. During this time, I have never needed to file a claim so I can’t really speak to their services. What I can say is that each year my rates continue to go up and they are constantly blasting me with review requests emails. Also, I recently moved and submitted a request online for a policy change in October 2023 and they only changed my mailing address but left the old address as the insured address. I’m not sure why this happened and why they wouldn’t think to change the address being insured if I was requesting the address change on my policy. If a customer submits a request that they are moving then it should be common sense that the person is requesting a change to the overall policy and would like to have the new residence insured instead of one they don’t reside in anymore. If this was at all unclear to the agents at the time of the request then they could have contacted me for more information, instead they continue to insure an address I haven’t lived at for months and only send communications regarding their requests for a good review on Google. As it stands, I only found out that the whole requests wasn’t processed correctly when I received a “courtesy” call from them informing me that the rates are going up this year. When I went online again to try and correct the address I received no notification that a request had been made or that they were processing. I’m not sure what’s happening with this company but I hope they can start doing better this year or I will be happy to look elsewhere for renters insurance with a company that reaches out to their customers for more than just reviews. Do Better."
"My Agent Jim Craig, was a the best advocate I could have had on my side when I had a claims issue. He was so persistent and tireless in his efforts to get me a satisfactory resolution. He went above and beyond what would have been expected leaving no stone unturned. Because of Jim I was able to obtain a reasonable resolution to my claim and I couldn’t have done it without him. Thanks Jim!"
"Job well done. I want to thank you for your service. I appreciate it. I do not have any need to worry about anything."
"I have 2 landlord policies and I am very happy with the competitive price. I highly recommend them to homeowners. Thank you!!!"
"I will be the first to admit that I’m not great with making payments on time and I signed myself up for this allstate to save money. Recently, I’ve switched to another insurance to the same. I’m not in the best economic status and I requested to this office if they could help me with making partial payment, they said I had to pay the amount due in order to terminate. Man made technology, man could manipulate yet I got no help with this. I paid it anyway. I received a d-mail thanking me for that payment, replied to it. Requested any installment fees/late fees they could reimburse me for if possible to maybe afford some groceries. In the same e-mail notifying them I’d switch insurance to save money. the response: make a payment to in order to do that. HELPFUL. It seems you really don’t care about your customers. You don’t empathize or seem to actually read what we write to you. Glad I made the switch. This was a direct response from Jim Craig himself…"
