"I came here to pick up medication and told pharm tech that i was using Goodrx. I waited about hour, then to the price in their did not match my Goodrx card even after I told the rep I put the card info. I don't know whether I am being discriminated bc they lied about input my card numbers in and did not. I never have issues like this at Walmart or other pharmacies when I give them my Goodrx card. The price would always match what I have on my phone, not at Safeway! Total waste of time coming, I got here before 11am, it now afternoon, was expecting to get my medication but could not due to price discrepancies in their system. I am transferring over to another where they would honor the price listed on the app on my phone."
"I have to struggle with this place every single month to get my prescription filled. Every time. Go to the Giant or CVS, this place is awful. Once I showed up at 11am and they said they wouldn’t fill it for me until 1:15(it’s a morning medication, I had never heard of a refill time table like that), but then immediately began calling me when I got home that they had filled it. The woman, Ruby, up front rolled her eyes at me. Terrible."
"Blood ran down my wife's her elbow after the male nurse injected her on the right shoulder just for a flu shot this morning at about 10:15. He did not even apologize for causing the bloody scene, instead he ordered me twice to clean up the bondage wrappers while I was trying to stop the bleeding and wiping her bloody arm. We regretted visiting this pharmacy!"
"Ruby needs to go. This pharmacy tech has a bad attitude, is rude to customers, and is slower than a snail at everything. My final experience here, I needed a med quickly for my sick son & called to make sure it was in stock. She refused to even look because the prescription was "in the system" and she would have to get it out. She was too busy & I'd need to wait almost 2 hours for her to even see what the med was. What??? She also hung up on me twice during my attempt to get this med. I was told during the second round that there were too many people ahead of me for her to help me. Finally got the pharmacist on the phone who in just a couple minutes looked up the prescription, saw she didn't have it & printed a transfer for me to take elsewhere. Also, there were only 2 people waiting ahead of me. But Ruby was going to make me wait 2 hours & make my sick kid wait even longer for meds. Thanks to her, all my business will be going elsewhere. Minimal customer service & care for sick patients shouldn't be that much to expect."
"The Safeway pharmacists always take the extra time to learn customers' names and address any concerns. Additionally, the area in which patients may receive vaccinations is private, clean, and comfortable. My children and I get our flu shots at the pharmacy because we can barely feel a thing when our favorite pharmacist administers it. He's the best!"
