"This place is the worst run pharmacy in Hunterdon and has been for years. Every time I'm in there someone has some kind of issue with their prescription, but it was right next to my office, so I thought it would be the most convenient. However, the latest (and final) issue was them telling me they couldn't fill a prescription for my daughter, so I spent an hour on the phone with my insurance company, who called them and SUDDENLY they had the medication available. However, they only had 50 not the prescribed 60. Fine... So they tell me it'll be ready Tuesday. Tuesday comes and I call to make sure it's been filled... it hasn't. They tell me to check back the following day, still nothing. I got a text message on Thursday saying it was finally filled... however I was out of state by then returning Sunday. I get a follow up text Monday morning saying it was still ready. I got there Monday afternoon and they said they gave it to someone else, and to wait 20 minutes for them to fill it again. Fine... I went to Shoprite and ran a few other errands... came back AN HOUR LATER and was told "it'll be ready in 10 minutes." I wait another 20 MINUTES and the pharmacist calls me on my phone while I'm sitting right there waiting, and tells me they're out of the meds. The incompetence and indifference at this location is borderline criminal. My daughter has been without her medication for nearly two weeks because of the absolute clown-show that is this pharmacy. I will not be back... not that they care one way or another if they lose customers. If you want your time wasted, this is the location for you! Edit: From the Walgreen's parking lot, I had my doctor call this prescription in to CVS and the full prescription was filled and picked up that day with no problems. I only wish I made this change sooner, it would have saved me so much aggrivation."

"I never write negative reviews because I’m in the customer service industry and I understand things happen. However, my dr called in a prescription yesterday morning and it’s 9pm the next day and I still don’t have it. After calling numerous times to be told they are working on it.. at 7pm they said it was filled at another pharmacy in Newark.. WHAT?! It’s for anxiety and I’m really struggling.. they should have told me there was an issue yesterday!!!"

"I don’t always tend to buy into online reviews, as the loudest voices tend to be the most negative ones- but honestly this pharmacy is an absolute embarrassment to the company and retail pharmacies in general. Having worked as a pharmacist for over 25 years under several different banners before transitioning into clinical research, I’ve never seen such dysfunction, lack of care, and disorganization from a pharmacy location. Picking up prescriptions is never smooth (regardless of how early they’re called in since they seemingly lose track of where they put them, even if they’re “ready”), staff lacks social graces/never has a clue what they’re doing, and wait times are absolutely absurd despite the adequate number of employees staffed vs the prescription volume in a town of this size. My entire family has waited for prescriptions/immunization on multiple occasions only to be forgotten about until approaching the counter again without so much as an apology. This place is shameful and I will gladly drive exponentially farther in any direction to avoid this location. Truly a shame that this is all Clinton has to offer to its residents and Walgreens allows a location to exist in this manner. A complete institutional failure from top to bottom. Do yourself a favor and fill your prescriptions through mail order or find ANY other pharmacy within state lines and stay far away from here."

"I went online and scheduled my CV shot, these were offered every 15 minutes. When I arrived there were 4 people waiting ahead of me who had not yet had their shot. They were extremely slow and I waited well over an hour. While I was there I could hear numerous people who came in to pickup prescriptions supposedly ready that were not. Terrible"

"Called in by Doctor at 1pm. Went in at 2:30 to pick it up. Was told 10 to 15 minutes. Waited until 3:15 and was told I would have to wait 30 to an hour. Time to start going to another pharmacy. People who came after me waited and received their order. Doesn’t say much for trust and in the pharmacy business this is unacceptable."
