"The best dentist in the DMV! Dr. Sabharwal is very nice and thorough, and I always leave feeling my best. She is also very considerate of my TMJ and offers honest treatment options. I appreciate that she takes the time to explain things to you as well. The staff are all so nice, and I love that they always double check with me to tell me the price of anything extra beforehand. I would recommend SKS Dental to anyone!"

"I am writing this review because Smita Sabharwal DDS was very attention oriented and educational. I definitely was not aware of some of the things that were going on in my mouth. Thankfully, she thoroughly went through the process and told me how we can plan to get it resolved. I appreciated her honesty and taking the time to enlighten me and set forth a plan for healthy teeth and gum longevity. Rachel the receptionist was also amazing. She had a warm smile and was ready to help push my insurance to accept certain procedures. Shes amazing! :)"
"Bottom Line Up Front: No, I do not recommend SKS Dental. Star Rating: One star is for SKS Dental staff (e.g., dental assistant, receptionist, etc.); the staff is friendly and professional. The other one star is for Dr. Sabharwal, who although isn't the best dentist I've been to, seems at least somewhat competent; in other words, she's not the worst. Biggest Red Flags: -Unfriendly dentist. Each time I came for a dental visit, I found Dr. Sabharwal's personality cold at best, grumpy at worst. One would hope that good beside manner would be par for the course when one is a doctor dealing with patients. Unfortunately, this was not the case in my experiences with Dr. Sabharwal. -Too aggressive treatment plan. During my initial consultation with her she suggested aggressive treatment, such as a crown for one of my back teeth that had old silver fillings. I told her I had seen my previous dentist not too long ago, and my previous dentist hadn't mentioned anything of the sort. Additionally, I did not have any actual crack or sensitivity in said tooth. Dr. Sabharwal said she's recommending it as a preventative measure since it was an old silver filling. That sounded like too aggressive a treatment plan to me since a crown is a pretty invasive procedure, in which your existing tooth is whittled down and then a replacement crown is placed on top of it. There are other issues which I could detail, but for the sake of brevity I limit myself to the above biggest red flags. Overall: I tried SKS Dental because my new job didn't carry Delta Dental. My employer only carried Cigna Dental, and my previous dentist was not in-network with Cigna. So to save cost, I went with SKS Dental because it is in-network with Cigna. However, after about 3 dental visits, I decided the savings wasn't worth it. I'd rather pay more money to go back to my previous dentist (who is out-of-network) than continue to see a dentist who I was quite unhappy with. I did return to my previous dentist and told her about Dr. Sabharwal's practice and recommendations. I'm so glad I didn't go along with Dr. Sabharwal's aggressive treatment plan. My current dentist said she takes a more conservative approach, and unless there's the beginnings of a crack or if I'm actually experiencing sensitivity, there's no need to do a crown. Thus, I'm happily back with my previous dentist, despite having to pay more out of pocket because she's not in-network. If you're searching for a new dentist, while I do not recommend SKS Dental and Dr. Sabharwal, I do highly recommend Quincy Street Dental and Dr. Borak. With Dr. Borak you'll find a cheery, friendly, compassionate, and knowledgeable dentist. Her dental office is clean and modern, and her staff is also friendly and has great customer service. You'll feel comfortable and well-attended to and happy with your dental service at Quincy Street Dental every single time."
"Dr. Sabharwal and her associates are the best dental professionals I've ever been treated by. For the past few years, I have been treated with both kindness and professionalism, even during the height of the pandemic. I have always received honest advice and guidance, no upselling or unnecessary treatments and felt like I could trust them completely."
