"I payed these people almost $500 a mont for 3 years. They told me to ignore the letters that would be coming in. They told me to ignore phone calls cause they were on it. After following all their instructions a lean was placed on my bank account. All of these judgements against me and there's nothing I can do about it. Now my work checks are going to be garnished. Wrong company to do business with."

"My rating is 0/5 I regretted ever signing with Option 1 legal. They don’t do anything to help solve my debt. I have paid more in this program more that I would have paid if I was taking care of my own debt. Most of all my enrollment accounts where send to court with judgement again me, and Option 1 legal didn’t represent me at all. I have an account which is considered settled 1 year ago but I received a call from creditor this week regarding the same account which they claim is not yet paid off and pending litigation in court My Bank account was wiped down to $0.1 this summer by a creditor who took $12500 from my account because Option 1 legal fail to represent me in court as they said the would and have already charge me over $8000 fees upfront. for me regret is under statement my God will surely punish them for all the dirty business and their scams."

"This company it’s a joke, they don’t work with you. Do not go with them, I was paying them for 2 years and close only one small account ($800), they ruin your credit and they don’t answer phone calls, email, or call you back. Worst experience ever, one of the creditors put a garnishment on my bank account and took $4000 because these clowns never contacted the bank, not a word."

"Worst company ever to work with. They settled 1 of my smaller accounts easily the the rest have been nothing but a mess. I have been in ligation twice, court once with absolutely no help from the legal team that I am supposedly paying for according to my contract. Then 3 phone calls later after I received a pay garnish form in the mail the company assured me they were work hard with the litigation team. Of course they did not and my account is frozen. I have no to access to money. I called Option 1 to let them know this and after being hung up on they told me there is nothing they can do unless I pay the $17,000 in one lump sum. Absolutely the worst. They do not care about helping me at all. Now I have to figure this out on my own...with no access to money. Now I am understand why the company gets awful reviews. I unfortunately learned my lesson the hard way. UPDATE: Still awful. I had to go to court to meet with the attorney representing my debt. We agreed to an amount without any help of Option 1 legal. I withdrew that debt from Option 1 because they lawyer for my debt was more helpful than Option 1. As of today, I have one more debt that is less than $3000. For some insane reason I thought they could actually negotiate this small account. They called with a settlement offer after me calling them numerous times with no update. It was only $267 off the amount due. This amount didn't even cover the fees that got added to the debt because no one from Option 1 Legal contacted the company."

"Please be careful with this company and really know what you're getting into. They take MORE THAN HALF of your monthly fee for their own fees, so the money saved to "settle" is a fraction of what you contribute monthly. You'd have an easier time trying to settle yourself with the collection agencies AND save money. Example: My mom contributed about $16,000 in 3 years, they took about $$9,500 in fees. We cancelled before our contract ended, had $1,600 in "savings" that they still have not refunded. They were useless in settling one of the biggest debts against a very aggressive creditor, so we're taking that into our own hands. This is a total scam. EDIT: As soon as my mom cancelled, she was unable to log into the portal where you monitor settlement activity and what you contribute, it does NOT tell you how much the fees are per month and how much you've saved.
