Boru Ramen

"This is always my go to place before karate class with my son. Especially in the winter, a bowl of ramen is a perfect father and son dinner. My son is super picky and they always customize for my 8B. Wonderful and happy food for the soup."

"The weather has finally turned to fall, chilly weather. The perfect time to explore some ramen shops. There are others closer to me but Boru Ramen is a fast, little place on Columbia Pike that serves up some delicious food. I will definitely be back the next time it is cold out and I am craving some ramen."

"Posting this a little late, as I went here last week while on biz in the DC area. I always love to try local spots in a search for delicious food and awesome places in general. I've definitely found both here. I liked the overall aesthetic of the restaurant. Simple and clean. The staff was very kind and did a great job, always checking up. I ordered the Hakata Tonkatsu ramen, and the Boruball. I absolutely loved both. The Boruball on the appetizer was pretty big, individually. They were crisp, the sauce, seaweed, and pickling lent a great flavor to the texture and taste of the panko crust and pork inside. The ramen was perfect. The flavor was rich but light, the egg was fantastic, noodles were not overcooked, pork was soft and everything was just spot on. The bamboo shoots were also soft but not mushy. I loved this place, and will definitely go back to try more!"
