"I've been to a lot of hotels. Many many places, different states and this Motel 6 right here is definitely by far. One of the best places that I've stayed. The staff are very nice. They are very accommodating the rooms. They're not bad at all and they're big, They're better than what I've seen in some places. If you're traveling or passing through Clarion. I highly recommend. A night or a week here the owners are awesome and the community's just so generous, i will definitely be back."
"I stayed at this Motel 6 thinking that (1) I’ve had decent experiences at Motel 6 in the past (though this was very many years ago) and (2) Motel 6 is a national chain and should have some bare minimum level of quality. What I saw here was appalling. Disgusting. Heating system sucked. I’ve seen better beds in a fold out couch bed. We were here for a night while on a two day road trip to Indiana during Thanksgiving. Slept with the lights on in the hopes of warding away any pesky critters (though to be fair I didn’t see any, but who knows). My wife was upset with me for getting a room here, and will surely hold it against me any time we travel now. All of this is particularly bad when for a little extra we could have gotten significantly better rooms in other establishments nearby. For some people every dollar counts and paying a little more for much better quality is not justifiable, which is fine, to each his own. But that’s not us, so I wish I had looked into this more before getting a room."
"My husband, a few of my friends and I stayed at this hotel this past weekend on Saturday for my birthday. We got a smoking room (255) and so did my friends. When we arrived into the hotel hallway that led to our rooms we noticed a white, power like substance on the floor in different locations down the hallway. My husband and I went into our room and the first thing we noticed was that it was freezing. The heater/ac unit was unplugged. We plugged it in to get some heat going. At that time, we looked up on the wall and saw a cockroach!! We instantly grabbed our bags, left and went back down to talk to the front desk. The guy at the front desk switched us to a non smoking room. I wanted to talk to a manager then, but the manager wasn’t available until the next morning. The next morning we checked out and asked to talk to a manager again so we could talk about what happened when we arrived. The manager did talk to us. He explained while showing us a map of the hotel, that we should have never been put in that room because it was suppose to be blocked off right now because of the cockroach problem. I kindly asked about getting a discount for our troubles the night before. He mentioned that he would have to talk to someone higher up about it and would send my husband an email with a possible discount of 10%, 15% or 20%. We haven’t heard anything back. We visit Clarion quite a bit, it’s a shame that it wasn’t made right and now we have to stay somewhere else when we travel back."
"Had great experience. Our room 114 was very clean. April was our housekeeper. I can say she puts effort into her work.. Keep it up April. My wife and I appreciate you. As well as our check in. Front desk Jim had a great personality made me and my wife feel welcomed. Thank you all. We appreciate everyone of you."
"We’ve stayed twice before on cross country road trips. I’m a clean freak and our first two visits we found our rooms to be clean and comfortable, although definitely a little run down/outdated. Not important because the price was always fair. Tonight we planned to stay for our third time. The price was quite high at $150 (perhaps because it’s a holiday weekend) and when we arrived to our room it was not clean. Mattress didn’t even have a mattress pad, cover, or protector of any kind and had rust colored stains on one of the corners. The king bed had three pillows - two which appeared dirty and one that didn’t even have a pillowcase. The walls and floor were not very clean. Because we had stayed before and had good experiences, I thought maybe this was a one off issue. We asked to change rooms and the second one was also quite dirty. We decided to keep driving and find somewhere else to stay. Very disappointed because this used to be a dependable spot for us. We won’t be staying here again."
