"As a seller I did not choose Admiral Title Group but I definitely would not recommend them. Having bought and sold multiple houses, this was the worst experience I could remember. From the start I was requested to provide personal information via unsecure email and I had to wonder if it was real or some kind of phishing attempt. When I asked for a more secure method of transferring information, I was provided with a link but very little instruction about how to access it. In this day and age secure transfers should be the standard and nobody should be providing sensitive information via an email to someone they barely know. At the closing we found out that a large sum was withheld pending confirmation of a tax credit that was in place. Even when our realtor tried to explain that it wasn't necessary and that she hadn't seen it on about 10 other transactions with the same credit, they still insisted on holding it. For days we tried to arrange a call with the account representative at Admiral or her supervisors and only received emails saying they were doing all they could. We did finally receive the credit due to us but it took a while and I wonder how long it would have taken if we didn't push the issue. Overall I didn't feel like their customer service was up to the standards I expect."
