"Don’t owe membership money even one day past due. They will terminate you with no call or option for solutions to work With you. We been donating for years and barely use the membership. They claim to be for the community and a non profit that supports all communities but it’s all lies. You pay your money and nothings ever updated in the facility. I know there are more than me that donated."
"I spend half money lose for my daughters volleyball. I don't believe a young coach bully and not doing her job to teaching. They just playing round. And don't waste your money to spend girls to volleyball.... My daughters don't learn anything from volleyball coach since 5 weeks is wasted!!!! They are too busy chatting and play with their phone. SMH and i talked and email to YMCA and she never respond or anything! Seems they don't care! And my daughter asked coach why u teaching not for chatting she said I DONT CARE. Not acceptable attitude..."
"I'm ready to get started. The people were so welcoming. I can't wait to hit the pool."
"I'm Loving It The Staff, The Pool, The Gym, The Members. The Setting and Ambiance Alone Is Great! Thanks You Guys!"
"I wish that the higher ups, particularly Denise, "had the time" to discuss membership fees to those who would benefit from it the most. I called in to ask membership-specific questions about a recently filed application for an income adjusted application, the female at the customer service desk was baffled and should have been better informed and possibly offered more training, the "Director" was running out the door, and couldn't even take two minutes to speak with me personally on the matter. This is not the first time I have had vitally important questions that did not end in a resolution. It seems like the YMCA has some amazing, community-changing programs, but they need to step up their game in the "new customer" service aspect. It would be greatly beneficial to the beautiful community of York."
