"2 years ago I had a birthday party here for my grandson. He had a great time so I decided to have another birthday party for him this year. BIG mistake. The day of the party it snowed. The roads were getting bad so around 11:30 that day I decided I better check to see if there was anyway to reschedule. The girl I spoke to told me they were closing at 12:30 and I would have to reschedule for another day and time. I guess if I wouldn’t have called to check on the party; they would have never contacted me. The first thing, the next day they opened; I was on the phone asking to reschedule for the following weekend and the same time. The guy I spoke to told me he was the manager and went through all the details for the party. The following week we showed up and I just knew it! The only person working there; looks up at me and says I’m sorry we don’t have you scheduled. The guy I spoke to the previous week was not the manager and things continued to go downhill from there. They claimed I never called them to reschedule. I showed the girl the call that was made the date, time, and the minutes spent on the phone. We had ordered 3 pizzas which I was told we could not get because they didn’t have my party scheduled. The kids had nothing to eat except the birthday cake we brought. If it wasn’t for the kids wanting to jump; I would have demanded my money back. They are so unprofessional and have no knowledge on how to handle these situations. In the meantime, the lines are getting longer because they are understaffed. They gave us enough plates for 7 kids. No plastic utensils for the cake. No drinks. They were extra. The place was a mess. No longer do they have lockers to put your belongings in. Garbage cans filled to the top. The whole place was dirty. I had an argument with a father that not only denied his son hitting my granddaughter in the back of the head; but tells me to just move on. You can’t go anywhere anymore without running into rude people. I’m so done with that place. I was unaware that the establishment had new owners and it has really gone downhill. I hear the new place in York; Fun City Adventure Park is the place to go and that’s where my family will be going from now on."
"Very dirty.. No changing table in bathroom screws r sticking out of wall. Floors are nasty. Smells bad in play area. Very gross would not recommend. Not healthy at all or safe. Got hung up on very rude people 23.00 to get sick. State should be called in to inspect this place shame on yous. Not worth any stars was hold to use employees bathroom."
"I took my son there for the first time in about 6 months. The staff was nice especially considering they were understaffed in the morning the play area was dirty there’s tape holding things together the wheel chair ramp isn’t even under the carpet the new paint job is cute the one attraction was down but it wasn’t closed off. The women restroom was terrible I would not feel comfortable bringing children into it none of the stalls closed properly the drop ceiling was off in 3 panels and the baby changing table was off the wall with the mount screws uncovered sticking out of the wall it’s utterly ridiculous for a children’s play place."
"During my recent visit to Altitude in York, I found the location to be quite welcoming, thanks to its well-lit and generally well-maintained environment. This made for a pleasant initial impression. However, I noticed that the carpet areas were not as clean as I would have expected, which was a bit disappointing considering the overall upkeep of the place. When it came to refreshments, the snacks available were, unfortunately, overpriced. This might be a point of consideration for future visitors who plan to spend a significant amount of time there and might need a bite to eat. Additionally, I observed something rather unusual and concerning regarding the management. It appears there might be a lack of attention to detail or possibly literacy issues, as evidenced by the photo I've attached. This aspect could potentially impact the overall customer experience and communication efficiency. In summary, while Altitude has its strengths in terms of ambiance and maintenance, there are areas like cleanliness and pricing strategy that could be improved. Moreover, the management team might benefit from a closer review of their written communications to enhance their professional image."
"I have come here many times and my last experience has driven me to this review. They had broken trampolines and pieces actually on the park! They have removed their rock wall as well as the jumping machine. On top of all of this we could not use the dodge ball court because lack of staff. Unfortunately this is no longer worth the drive for me and I will be looking for somewhere else."
