"This spot seems to be very popular. A lot of people were there. I found the concept to be good as far as cooking your food in a broth directly in front of you. The variety of food options was great. The bowls on the conveyor belt were a nice touch and added to the atmosphere. The only drawback to a full 5 star rating is the uncertainty of how long to leave some of the items in the broth to cook fully. There are no cooking time recommendations. Also, it's great to make your own dipping sauce. But if you don't know how the sauces taste, there is no way to sample in advance to know what you'd like. I had to go back to the sauce bar multiple times before I gave up. I didn't like any of the options. If I go back, I will bring my own sauces."

"A nice place to visit on a cold day and have a lot of food. You have a huge variety of soup bases, meats, fish, salads, sauces, etc. if you know how to do Hotpots, then you’ll enjoy it. We came here on a Sunday night and paid $35 per person and for that we got so much good that we couldn’t even finish it."

"Absolutely love this place. Comparing urban hotpot to a couple of other hotpot places I've been to, this one always takes the win. Haven't been here in a while and was surprised to see robots serving the food, the service was alot faster than it used to be. I got the spicy broth this time, it was a bit oily from too much hot oil I think but very flavorful. Our orders came out within minutes from sending them through the tablet. They have a large variety of ingredients, everything looked and tasted fresh. Can't wait to come back here."

"One of my favorite hot pot places in the area. The broth, vegetables and cuts of meat are always consistent. Yes some of the meats come out frozen, but 2-3 mins in your steaming hot broth will cook everything. The location has tables on both sides. There’s a conveyor belt in the middle with some random ingredients. I really like the high ceilings and Koi fish lights on the ceiling. The music here can be a bit loud if you plan on taking any calls. I’ve come here for lunch and dinner. Dinner is about $10 more at $35. You get some more premium cuts of meat and they offer better seafood options a la carte. Service here is always on point. There’s always a staff member close to you ready to clean your table, refill your drinks and the food comes out really quickly. They even feature those robots now to deliver your food. The sauce station is always clean. Definitely try their meat sauce. If you’re by the mall or Columbia in general this is the spot for hot pot."

"ALWAYS an amazing time at Urban Hotpot. Ingredients were fresh, service was impeccable. We came at 12:00PM and were seated quickly. The broth came within five minutes of ordering, and the foods came quickly. We were done eating by about 1:15PM. For about $25 a person for lunch, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! (We have been here many times prior to this visit). Visited again January 26. Again had an amazing time! Prompt seating, ample parking, wonderful and attentive wait staff. Fresh and delicious broth and foods. Today, above all days, also had amazing music! We tipped 22% :) ❤️ Urban Hotpot!"
